I think there is at least a shade of hope though, now that Hasbro has the licenses for Star Wars, G.I. Joe, AND Marvel. And we're getting decent 1/6 figures of two of the three, so let's just keep our figures crossed...

Darklord Dave lets move this to the Product Request area.................for our sake so they will know that this thread is a request................

Here's the cobras I absolutely want:

And also the cobra guard / officer. I'd be happy with those and possibly Scrap Iron as well.

HOLY poo!!! That's exactly what Sideshow needs to see for a 1/6 Destro. Lonely, distraught gun runner in a heavy, metal mask...looks like he's about to either take out Cobra Commander or himself!

May have been posted before, but limited to 1,000 pieces with a price tag of $250(ouch), here ya go:

Wow.. I'm surprised this thread is still here. everything else I post seems to drop!

Yeah... they could keep the line fairly small.. stick to the originals.

But I'd kill for some Zartan and his Dreadnaughs!!!!

Every character pre-1986. After the movie, the line got kinda lame. I mean, there were some cool figures and vehicles, but everything started to get away from the military look and more futuristic. And NO COBRA-LA!!!

Agreed!!! :D

No flaurecent suits.. All though a Serpentor would be kind of cool... if they stop at that series I would be satisfied!

I think they should just go as far as the 2nd miniseries (pre-Serpentor). The most colorful characters are already there: Shipwreck, Spirit, Quick Kick, Dreadnoks, Barbeque, Major Bludd, etc etc etc.

I know we'd all love to see B.A.T.S but 98% of whom I want are all in the earliest episodes.

All the recent talk has had me looking at the old Joe toys:
https://www.yojoe.com/toys/

I'm surprised by just how manny of them that I did own. By far the best Vehicle in the series was the Killer Whale:
https://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/84/whale/
It was such a favorite of mine, that I also bought the Night Force version, my second favorite was the Moray Hydrofoil.

I never liked the florescent colored figures but there was a few great figures and vehicles that came out after '86. Like the Warthog, Equalizer, Hit & Run, and that second version of Stormshadow which I liked much more then the first version.

You guys know that G4 is showing old episodes of Joe @ 8 AM EST? I watched "Sink the Montana" yesterday.

You must've not a had a Rattler then! I bought the Tiger Force Tiger Rat later too. Great plane! I always thought the WHALE was a little far-fetched. I always like the smaller vehicles (Ferret, Trouble Bubble, Silver Mirage), but my all time favorite was the Dreadnok Thunder Machine. I've gone through 3 of 'em already. Straight rip-off of Mad Max (Thrasher? Looked just like HIM!!! Thunder--THUNDERDOME). The cool thing was you could fit all the Dreadnoks on it, ready to pillage.

Gotta agree with the boats, Moray and the Killer Whale.........they were awesome. I liked the original Storm Shadow the more than the hooded white/grey camo version, but used that version more cause he had both thumbs............Second Snake-Eyes was best...........the black/ninja commando version with the, well just look at the book-ends up above. Tunnel Rat was awesome as well and Fire Fly............Mutt, Blowtorch...........man, if only they made toys as good as those for my kids.........

I owned both the original and the Tiger Force Rattler. It's a nice vehicle, but among the aerial vehicles it can't compare to the Tomahawk, Night Raven, and the Conquest X-30.
The Whale may push some reality, but this is GI Joe, it fits in perfectly with the laser guns, robotic suits, Jetpacks, and tanks with plastic canopies. The Whale was the ultimate assault vehicle, it carried a group of soldiers in the forward compartment, could go on both land and sea, had two additional vehicles that came with it, tons of weapons, and most importantly glided across the carpet with ease. ;)
Unlike the jeeps, the wheels never broke or became bent. It also had fully enclosed windows which is a huge plus for me.
I liked the small vehicles too, my favorites were the Jump Jetpack, Ram, Snake, Trouble Bubble, and the A.W.E. Striker.
I wasn't really into the Dreadnoks, I had a few of them and their vehicles and liked them on the show, but their costumes just didn't appeal to me. Not sure about Thrasher looking like Mad Max with a exposed midriff, but I always thought Big Boa looked like the Predator, at least he occasionally played that part on a few missions (boxing gloves aside).
Edit: Just found out Thrasher came with a black lacrosse stick as a weapon, talk about far-fetched. :lol

The thumbs always broke on my Joes, I hated when that happened. Also hated when the posts for their backpacks broke off in their backs, occasionally they were impossible to remove.
The second Stormshadow just looked cooler IMO, that and the fact that he came with Wolverine claws was a real draw. I bought a second one just so I can have a character similar to Wolverine with claws on both hands.
That second version of Snake Eyes is my favorite too. I bought all the Snake Eyes releases over the past couple of years hoping to find the definitive modern release Snake Eyes with Visor. One came awfully close, not sure which one that is, I'll have to do some research to name him.

Best vehicle was the USS Flagg... I got one for Christmas one year. I was FLOORED.
Man I really wanted a USS Flagg on Christmas. I think there was a present that was big enough to be it, but it turned out to be a bike or something. I did get all the other giant vehicles that came out in the line like the Command Headquarters, Terrordrome, and the Defiant Space Shuttle Complex.

.

A lacrosse stick...with a spiked ball attached to it! And it's not that far-fetched if you read Thrasher's file card.

Spoiled, suburban kid who gets whatever he wants, probably went to an upper-crust private school. Sounds like someone who'd play lacrosse to me!:D
