Yeah there are some tough parts in the game that I couldnt even imagine playing on hard or god mode for that matter.
I finally got a PS3 Console, and I'm so tempted to buy this one...
My wife and I love these games, and were never able to finish the first one...
and we're about half way on the second one, so might as well start fresh on the PS3 version!!!

Congrats!! For some reason I'm just not getting into the first game. I'm about three chapters into it and can't make myself start playing it again.

What I hate about this game is where I need to hit the button fast enough multiple times to move to the next part! I mean, for an old geezer like me, there's no way in heck I can tap that button multiple times fast enough! Any hints for a geezer like me?

Hate to tell you, but you're gonna have to do that alot on GoW3, just based on the demo.

Yeah I just freed prometheius from his torment on the 2nd GOW last night. I'll continue playing this weekend. I love the first game and its amazing how much is improved on GOW 2. Im so ready or GOW 3.
For some reason, I haven't been able to play the collection for a few weeks. Since I got MW2, all my time and energy has been directed to that one game. Dang... I need an intervention or something. MW2 is like digital crack
.Anyways, I always thought that GOW II was better than the first
. If you can't get into the first, definitely try the second one (actually, make sure that you try GOW II, at the very least, since that game is a direct prequel to GOW III).

Yeah Ive been playing MW2 since it came out so playing the GOW collection is a break for me. I still go back to MW2 and get some online games in every now and then. I just got the barbarians hammer last night before calling it a night.

Just picked up a PS3 and this game today. The graphics overhaul look great. Although I was disappointed that they didn't give the sound the 5.1 treatment...
I agree, also I thought some of the cut scenes would look a bit better as well. Bit I am happy with it.
I agree. I am not that far into 1, but I enjoy the play just as much as I ever did.

Just beat God of War 2 tonight...that was damn good. Cant wait to play the 3rd one. I actually picked up Darksiders the other day as well so Im going to start that in a few. Gotta get back to some MW2 for now. Take a break from the PS3.

Ok so I'm borrowing this from a friend and the in-game graphics look gread on a 720p HDTV but I noticed the cut scenes are very pixalated. Is this normal or is there a way to fix it?
No, the cutscenes were filmed using original in game graphics; much more noticeable in GOW 1 than 2
