In the backstage pass Sideshow says that Kratos is holding the blades of exile. I don't think those are accurate to the blades exile from the pics I have seen. Just kind of bugs me since I like as accurate to the source material as possible. What does everyone else think?

You are right, they aren't the Blades of Exile. They're the Blades of Athena.
I honestly don't mind, IMO the Blades of Athena were Kratos' best looking Blades, everything else is pretty spot on.

It makes no sense if they are the Blades of Athena because in the statue he has Hermes' Boots.

Excellent point Awesome, I will bring up that point in the ask Sideshow section. I still like the statue, but I hate inaccurate details like this. I hope they consider this and make a change.

I haven't had a chance to play God of War III yet, but are guys saying that the Blades of Athena never appeared in it? I hate how they could miss little details like this.

No the Athena's appeared in the game but I don't want to say any details for people who haven't beat it yet.

and yeah cboling that would be great to see what they say. Sideshow screwed up on this one.

I just fell in love with this statue after seeing more detailed pics of it from SDCC. It's going to look incredible if paired with pandora's box from the Ultimate Edition.

That is the design of what Kratos should be holding, instead they have him wearing Hermes' Boots with Athena's Blades which screw up all continuity. The maquette is great but people with OCD will be pissed off saying that they ****ed up with this. It might also be too late for them to change the design on the Blade.

Kratos, I figured you of all people would want a video game accurate portrayal of your favorite character. It just doesn't make since for it to happen considering how long this took, sonys approval, etc..
Don't get me wrong I will keep my ex, but will probably display with the Hades weapons that should be somewhat purple in color also:slap

Hey Kratos, if Sideshow wants $300 for a damn statue they better do it right.

Can't say I really care whether SS give me the Blades of Athena or Blades of Exile it really doesn't matter, just happy they gave us the statue :yess:

$260 Mate, and they did a fine job, can't find a fault with the statue
:monkey1

He should have the Blades of Exile if they want to do it correctly, it's like Sideshow didn't even play the damn game. The piece costs over $300 due to the tax and shipping.

Yeah I don't think you guys understand what is wrong with this statue.

Wrong. Sideshow only charges sales tax to California residents, and the estimated shipping for this statue only came up to $9.86 when I ordered.
