I love the style and the setting. Having the story set in the future, with sci-fi style ships and weapons, fits very well with anime.
I'm a little worried how they'll have Godzilla move. His characteristically slow movements might not fit well with the anime style.
Every giant robot/monster I've seen in anime with slow movements (Gatchaman, Mazinger, Voltes V, etc) were boring and out of place. I was also much younger, but we'll see.

Still, I'm excited about this and hope it's amazing enough that I'll want to watch it.

Aw gross. They're not doing actual drawn animation? The CG animation always looks so terrible. Hard pass on this.
