At 9-10", I'll save the money, the Bandai figure works fine for the scale, I actually like it a bit better.

Just noticed something else that favors Bandai over X-Plus for me, looks like X-Plus has that hump on his back at the base of the neck, which in the movie looks to me like it's the actor head or something, doesn't seem intentional, looks a bit ugly to me but Bandai didn't put it in.

I just picked up the Bandai GMK japanese version from Blade3327 . its a really nice figure for sure . ill post pics over the weekend of all the G - stuff i have amassed lately

The 8" version? Or you referring to some variant of that? I recently picked up the standard 8" GMK from Bandai, I love how it presents him, I had the X-Plus USA 6 inch one but they slimmed him a bit, wasn't overly true to that suit's build, GMK was a fat Godzilla.

I have the Bandai, and I personally don't think it's nearly as good as this X-Plus version. I really like that these figures look just like the person in the suit. For a minute I even thought about selling my Bandai collection and just collecting these, but I want to keep the Bandai versions for nostalgic purposes since they're the figures I collected as a child.

I am bummed that GMK isn't going to be in the 30 cm scale, though. He's the one I wanted the most.

they still might make it into a 30cm scale since all the other 30 cm are from the same line of molds. maybe they just decided to start this new line with the GMK .

I really hope so. I don't particularly want to collect two scales from X-Plus since the prices are so high. I just don't think I'd be able to afford it.

Big Godzilla day for me! :yess:

It isn't every day you get one of these!
A signed Microman Godzilla 1954!
Well, the Microman is cool, even at 3 to 4 inches. It's a cool little action man guy that fits inside a cool little 1954 Godzilla suit that is actually rather accurate.
And it's sad I can't ever open him, because this little carded guy is going in a wall display box of some kind asap! It's of course the autograph itself that has me all lathered up! From Haruo Nakajima himself! The man in the suit from 1954 to 1972.

Thanks to my friend Kevin who got it for me, a couple of years back, and only just had a chance to send it to me. I am very grateful and very excited to have this piece in my growing Godzilla collection.

Also received a nice 1954 score to go with it! And a doodle from my buddy on the box...

Haruo at the G-Fest Con in Chicago a couple of years back...when the auto was obtained...

I am VERY grateful to have this, the smallest Godzilla of my collection sizewise, but the largest in magnitude!

Thanks Kev! :yess:

More of my own G collection to come soon!
