Just got my NECA 24" and he roared once, I put the tail on, and now HE WON'T ********* ROAR.

WTH?

Did you use a blowdryer to heat up the female part of the tail?

Neca has to do something about this sound gimmick. It's not the first time it happened, and hopefully it's only some items and not a weakness in the mechanism that is prone to damage

For this reason I refuse to keep a mip version - plus batteries would eventually leak and ruin it permanently if it stayed untouched

Happened to me but it only roared once AFTER I had already put the tail on.... Get a replacement from the retailer. If they give you a hard time or refuse contact neca for a replacement and tell them who you bought from as well....


Btw does anyone on this thread know anything about the new bandai 2014 vinyls that are supposed to be hitting the u.s. Market? The bandai creation version, that is?

My Neca Batman arrived crooked, Neca IM with paint rubs on his face, Neca Cap with dings to his head and shield.

I was so happy when my Neca Godzilla roared.
