I only got these at the moment since I'm out of town and my girlfriend assembled him and her camera isn't as good as mine. I can tell she used flash.
Got any photos of the JJ bank with other X-Plus figures?

At the moment I only got one other. I'm waiting for Gigan 72 to really enjoy him in the pictures. This bank definitely fits in well with the scale.Got any photos of the JJ bank with other X-Plus figures?

People aren't really fans of him. For the price point the paint and face aren't up to par from what I understand. But I do believe there is a thread n the statue forum with collectors who do have it

While I somewhat agree the paint app could be a bit better but in terms of the actual sculpt it's far more detailed than what's shown in the pictures. You really have to see it in person to pick up all the little intricate creases, crevices and what not that's painstakingly molded there. The out of the box paint once again did not do a good job to pick up everything especially in its grey tone (which is to mimic the post nuclear blast anyway). But once you get a good lighting set up you WILL see everything not to mention complimented by the most film accurate and well proportioned Godzilla sculpt compared to the X plus or the new upcoming statue. Just apply some gloss coating over it and you can pick up even more details like what I done with mine. It's a shame the price is still unchanged on SS' website but from where I am it's $150 cheaper without shipping cost, but I do hope people would give it a chance tho since it's far more magnificent in person. In the realm of Godzilla collectibles, the Sideshow maquette is seen by many, myself included, as not being up to the quality level a piece as pricey as it is should be. The factory paint apps are along the lines of X-Plus SHMA quality which are mass produced pieces as significantly lower costs. For $800 the Sideshow piece could be better. The sculpt is also lacking in crisp detail. Overall, the upcoming Sideshow statue looks better and I would love to get that piece.
Agree. I also am not a fan of the eyes. They are so small and almost too human-like. And I wish he had bigger teeth only for the sake that I think at the end of the day those attributes would make a better figure /statue.I don't care for the elephant legs on the new Godzilla.
I want!!!I don't think this is the gigantic but this 54 looks freaking awesome

Is it just me or does no one have Sideshow's Godzilla 2014 maquette in their collection? Here's my recent addition.
It is truly magnificent once you see it in person and displayed in good lighting condition. But I do resonate about the price point, it's a shame really only if it could retailed cheaper. I also bought it for a discount but since I love the 2014 design so much and how awesome the sculpt, the sheer size and film likeness of it is, I would bought it either way.As someone who likes pretty much every version of Godzilla, I can still see why he's not a big contender in this thread. I wound up passing on the maquette when in-hand pics and reviews tanked, only to turn around and get him when the opportunity presented itself to only pay half retail. I wound up liking it so much that it's the only statue I now have in my living room. Granted, I am now looking for an artist to repaint him...
Love the new yuji sakai GMK!.here is my quick review.
