Just received my Mondo Biollante figures and I'm really happy with them. I'm a notorious complainer when it comes to XPlus Deforeals having considerable downgrades in colour and texture variation compared to their prototype images, so I'm really pleased to see that Mondo's figures are pretty damn close to the protos. Beautiful art boxes too.

That was one of the first things I noticed too; how nice and detailed the sculpts were. They did a really nice job with these.

Those do look nice. Makes me wonder how the same company can produce something the quality of that while having shoddy work on their MOTU line. Both are recent. Both probably made under Funko ownership. Btw: How big are those Biollantes? Are they part of a SD line or one-offs?

I fully trust in Mondo’s sofubi line now. They seem to have hit a good stride with what they are making. I’m really excited for their Rodan & Mothra Larvae and Spacegodzilla. Not to mention that amazing X-Ray Hedorah they’re making!

I would say that the Mondo Biollante is a little smaller than the Deforeal.

A new translucent Gigantic Godzilla ‘95 is up for preorder over on Shonen Ric as an exclusive!

I’m gonna have to wait a month to save some money, due to all of my recent purchases, but you better believe I’m getting this.

Godzilla(1995) Final Battle Version

Also Mondo is getting ready to drop their sofubi Spacegodzilla!

Pics from fb (Normal vs Drooping). So far 3 people had drooping X-plus Ghidorah wings. Makes me want to sell my upcoming order. Anyone else having the same issue?

Not at all. My Ghidorah is looking good.

Edit: damn it! You made me paranoid lol. I went to look at older photos and promo pics. The wings naturally curve in on the prototype, like mine do. Man I got nervous for a second.

Didn't they use ABS for the wings?
Yeah, they’re a really hard type of plastic. They’re definitely not soft vinyl.

After looking at my Ghidorah, the wings themselves are ABS, but the bones are vinyl.

Mine arrived without any problems, the wings are also much thicker than they would actually be (not noticeable without touching them) so I don't forsee problems with them drooping in the future.
