I've started to give that a go. Because why not. I'll hopefully post it tomorrow night for inspection here.

Also leaning towards pic 2If pic 2 were shrunken a smidge but larger than pic 3 with the tops of the frames adjusted to be more gradual slope, I think it’d be real close.
Yeah, to be honest small adjustments to either pic should work buddy, so just pick the one you like best and go for it. I’m thinking 2, but you could easily stick with 1 and be fine. Something about 3 seems off to me, but I like the idea of going a tad smaller with the frames overall. Hopefully, somebody can do the flashing overlay thing, so we can see better. They're an absolute bugger if I'm honest. Fixing his face was much easier.
I wondered that myself but then I'd be obscuring the eyebrows more than they are in the reference pic. Which makes me wonder did I lift the nose bridge part too high. Ugghh......@a-dev I think the apex of the curve at the top of each lens should be closer to the nose. In other words, the glasses should start sloping down closer to the nose.
If we could do that with the slightly smaller size of 3, it would be absolute perfection IMO.
Don’t apologise mate! You’re definitely bringing up some really interesting stuff. I just wish Hot Toys took a page out your book because you’re honestly putting them to shame with your editsIt could be that I'm misinterpreting the lighting on the sunglasses, that the actual external shape I've got isn't a million miles from what it should be but I've misunderstood the 'internal' lighting where I'm mixing up what the front surface is and what the top surface is etc. In so doing I've managed to make the frames look less curvy than they should be.
This will be of no interest to anyone who just wants to talk about and be excited for the figure, I apologize.
You've done great with the sculpt itself, the shades are simply too far gone. there's no saving them.Yes, that sounds like what I was saying in my last post there. I've 2Ded the glasses, not correctly accounted for their ''depth'' curvatures which is potentially what is throwing off the look. I'll give it another go later if I can get a chance. It may be beyond me though. As I said I'm not a trained artist.
