I keep going back and forth on the Sakai '89. I wish I can attach the face of that figure to the body of the 30cm version. For twice the price, I just don't know if I'm feeling it. But then I have a feeling in-hand pictures will change my mind. Idk.

Decisions, man. Is there any rush to own one though? I don't collect any X-Plus models, so I'm not too familiar if there are released in limited quantity like kits at Wonderfest. To me it makes sense to wait until the model comes out if you're on the fence.

Im very iffy on this sakai '89. I watched the movie again last night and now I notice that the suit looks particularly baggy/boxy in a lot of shots and the sakai is accurate to that. I think I like the '91 revisions much better but they have never released him to my knowledge.

Nope

Not yet...

First godzilla ( aside from the original shogun warriors g) I ever owned was the bandai 1991 large scale g....
Definitely a stunner at 14" not terribly accurate, but realistic and awesome for a soft vinyl figure

GS, I like these filters on your GBG

64 has shipped from EE. :yess:

I was worried that with GBG being my first Xplus that anything else would be a let down, but I'm actually really excited to receive the 64/Sakai89.

89 should be coming within the next 2 weeks.

They're such contrasting looks, it's going to look great together. One looks like he's quietly plotting something sinister, while the other one looks like he's losing his ****! :lol

Godzilla 68 reissue will be around. I see all the diamond reissues on ebay all the time now for decent prices.

phew That makes me feel better :hi5:

I'm going to hit a toy store here, see if I can talk the owner into giving me G68 for $150 flat. Hopefully he's in a good mood today :lol

Make sure you bring Hedorah cookies. :lol

Did anyone pick up the target exclusive for godzilla blu ray with the 30 min bonus? Is it worth the purchase or would you recommend I wait for an amazon sale few months down the road or something like that?

Here is where my GBG is being displayed for the time being...

:)

I love my Gigantic Burning Godzilla!!!!

Some photos with my Display lights overhead

The Blue Light make him look like a regular Godzilla... It's like having two Gigantic 95 Godzilla's :) :)

Green is cool too

Purple makes his burning areas look like they glow.

Looks great with lighting from below also

Did I mention that I love my Gigantic Burning Godzilla???

Its ridiculous...every other figure I got I've managed to catch the best sides of with a camera. I love my x plus 64 and 2014 and the pictures have come out good. But GBG the pics dont do any justice. Hes too spectacular.
