Thanks for the photo GSpawn. Looking at it, it seemed to me the Ric Boy was more accurate, but the changes made to the reissue also look accurate in the still photos. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one. I'll put him on my list. The film was one of my favorite Godzilla films as a kid for better or worse.

As promised.... Both my 62 and 68 Godzilla's arrived today..

Overall G62 is nice but the nails in his feet and hands are a bit..... Boring... Not very good paint apps.. There is a very noticeable seam on his back where the spines where glued into the neck.. I put some pis of the problems.. Otherwise Great... G68 looks good all around. No complaints.

64 is King!!!

62 is my Second fav.

68 is a childhood fav... Godzilla as hero.

Godzilla 95 is my fav from the heisei area

GMK - large monster series is one of the best GMK sculpts IMO... Prefer it over the 30cm version by a lot.

My Diamond reissue has the same nail paints as the ric boy... GSpawn, Can you take some close ups of you Diamond version so that I can see the nails... I might repaint mine.

Oh yeah... I should give a shout out to kaijuaddicts.com. I bought both Godzilla's from his mothers shop Flossie gifts - Godzilla Collectibles - X-Plus Toho Vinyl Figures | Flossie's Gifts and Collectibles

They kept me up to date and packed everything really well... No problems at all!!!

Thanks for those pics Jaws. I love that 64. I think it came out great. Can't wait to get that one in hand. The 68 looks pretty good. He's on my list. I put the 62 on my list, but after seeing your pics, not entirely sold on him. Maybe you just got a bad one? I wonder if the seam is showing on GSpawn's Godzilla. And it's a shame the nails on your aren't painted white. I think it looks good that way.

Just curious. Are all those X-plus G's (reissue and original) made from the same material? Can the feel / texture differ widely model-to-model?

Might just be the pictures, the design of the suits themselves, or even the paint app. But some spines and nails on some of the models look a bit more toy-ish than others. hm.

64 is wonderful... it's always been my fav G suit..

62 looks better in hand... The seam is a negative but it depends how you display him.

Here is a photo of the original release... You can see the seam there also... Just not as bad as mine because the paint blends in better. Mine also stick out a little more... Might have to try and fill it and paint it up... Or not... Like I said I display him from the other side so it's not a really big deal to me.

Has anybody received their Bandai 2014 Godzilla? I was going to order it off of Amazon but I've been reading negative reviews about it. If you do have it, what would your review be of the figure?
