I'm trying so hard not to do what you're doing. I still need to get 68 G to go with my Hedorahs....but I also want to get 89 and 03...trying to hold off. But the price for 03 on Amazon is super tempting... 2014 is absolute. Im getting him for sure.

Get the 2003.... Mine came today... It's not my fav. movie... It's not my fav suit... But I LOVE THIS FIGURE.... I like the suit but nothing compared to 64 or 62.... but this X-plus piece just has something about it.. It's sculpted and painted so well... Only negative is the very noticeable neck seam... Otherwise this is a 10 out of 10.

So glad I got this.. Almost passed because of my non love for the film...

I really like the film and it's one of my favorite suits, so if you're giving it such a positive review considering your feelings about the film and suit...then I HAVE to get it. :lol

Get that ****!!!! Man if you like the film and the suit then you will love it... I hate to brag it up so much and you end up let down but I was very pleased with this.

Just to stress... I like the suit... I would like it more if I liked the film better.. Not that I hate it.. I just find the Millennium series a bit boring.

I would say G 64, 62, 95, 2014, 2001, and 68 are my fav designs... 2003 is there with 54 and any of the other 90's suits...

But I am sure you will love it.

I've been thinking of getting the X-Plus 2003 myself. As well as the Mothra larva. Never had any intention of buying them, but they would look great next to my Kiryu. I was just going to have him chilling on the shelf with G99, but it doesn't really work.

I echo Jaws' sentiments. Im not a fan of the movie nor do I love the suit design but the figure is full of character and has a nice distinct presence. It's truly an eye catcher

Very nice... I like the work your friend did.. Especially with the finger and toe nails and teeth... Excellent piece to go with you X-plus 89

Thanks for comment. Yes, the guy does awesome work. He often exhibits his own diorama pieces at G-fest and Jerseyfest, some of them original sculpts

Yeah... It's a beauty.. Even my wife said it was really nice... Overall I think it was the best work X-plus has done with the 30cm figures I own.. The paint scheme, the pose, the sculpt... It all just works to perfection. This is not a case of loving something cause it's new... I did not get this feeling from my other pieces (though I did/do like them). It's just really nice and like you said Gspawn... It's an eye catcher.

Of course it does not compare to the GBG.. However it is the only x-plus piece I have that holds it's own when I put it next to GBG.

Can't wait for the xplus 2014 12" to go with the rest of his 2014 brothers

Nothing does.

But among my 30cm, 2003 looks like a total badass.

MA Kiryu arrives tomorrow! I don't have the SOS version so I'm stoked to get this one.

Congrats, Flosi. I have the Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla one displayed without the backpack and am thinking of getting the Tokyo SOS version because I prefer the backpack design on that one. Still haven't pulled the trigger yet. Post some pics of him when you get a chance.

How awesome is it? I have no x-plus... but this is the one figure I would like to have to remember my Monster Island days. The real King of the monsters.

He's one of their coolest sculpts in my opinion. There seems to be a lot of breakage issues with him, but these are just vinyl statues really, so most of the breaks are at points where they didn't glue the separate pieces like the legs and necks on well enough and they became detached. If you feel comfortable with that, and as long as you're careful, you should be able to reglue any piece that arrives detached.

Nothing does.

I think my favorite 30 cm figure is probably 68 Anguirus, but Titanosaurus is up there as well.

Gorosaurus is probably my most beloved since I spent so much time and effort trying to get him back in 09 or whenever I got him. I'm even thinking of getting the Diamond one too since he's so easy to buy compared to what I went through with the original release.

All great picks. Id love any of those three. For the time being im generally sticking to the king himself....but if I saw any if them un person for a decent price forget it!

It's in my amazon cart right now...i just need to checkout :lol

Best hurry if you're gonna get him. He's already selling out at most places and the after markert prices are kicking in :panic:

I would love to get the 68 Anguirus... It's the biggest reason I am so bummed about Diamond dropping the reissues :(

I wanted to get a few other of the Monsters that were not Godzilla but Anguris was top on my list.... I Love that little brawler!

Awesome. Now where can I get a Ghidorah? :)

Are they going to make a 30cm version as well?

Anguirus is one of the few I plan to get. Him, a godzilla and Titanosaurus. Other than that I'll just wait for a destroyah.

HLJ would probably be your best bet. Here's the link. King Ghidorah 1968 by X Plus | HobbyLink Japan

Personally, I don't think they'll ever do a fully 30 cm Ghidorah. Probably will be the same deal as characters like adult Mothra, Kumonga, and Biollante. Honestly, though, I don't think Ghidorah looks too bad next to 30 cm '68 Godzilla. It's a little out of scale, but not unbearably so.

Thanks!!!

I imagine a 30cm KG would just be too big. But I have fantasies about a DAM display and I do prefer the 30cm Gorosaurus for example. But getting all 10 and having space to display then is likely only something I can do in my mind. :)
