2 things.

They brightened up that image from the trailer.

Where are his wings lol

They are there.....dragging the ground you can see them.

G and G looks more scaled there

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

I agree with Jye. Somethin’ aint right there.

Ghidorah seems to run like a JP Velociraptor almost, very low to the ground.

Compare the charging to being poised for a fight.

Man I can't decide which is my most anticipated film this coming year.. Godzilla or Avengers. Hype for me is building up big time :)

I feel more ongoing excitement over Godzilla because we're getting good looks at it and what we're in for. I have excitement for Avengers because it's the conclusion of the journey and follow up to the epic snap cliffhanger, but I have no concept of what's going to exactly happen in the movie and whether it'll be fun to see or not, so my only hype is based on what the movie means, whereas Godzilla is about what it means and how it looks and what it looks to be.

I saw both trailers in IMAX before Aquaman yesterday and yes holy crap I don't know which one I'm looking forward to more either!

If I could only see one in the theaters but was promised I would love it no matter what then I would choose Godzilla.

If I could only choose one and never see the other and would be guaranteed to love it.. Man that would be so hard.

Godzilla was my first love. It is perhaps my earlies movie memory.

I lean towards picking Godzilla again unless someone told me that the Hulk really gets to shine like never before in the Avengers film.. I might lean to Avengers then since I would Get great Hulk action and the conclusion to the story..

SO glad I don't have to make such a choice :lol

Not even close AEG over Godzilla every second of the day!

Why!?!

When Marvel superheroes could never exist on a cinematic screen Godzilla had already been around since 1954!

I’ve already seen a quality modern cgi Godzilla vs a quality modern cgi giant monster in G14 and a modern cgi Godzilla from TOHO.

I’ve already seen Pacific Rim 1 and 2!

Christ we just had a giant kaiju in Aquaman like 10x larger than Godzilla and Ghidora!!!

So sorry TOHO but Marvel superheroes in an epic showdown 10 years in the making, there is no connected 10 year Kaiju series, is just too big of an event to be beaten not even by the king of monsters himself!

And that’s coming from a Godzilla lover lol

Marvel is in LOTR territory now maybe even surpassed it.

Now Aquaman over Godzilla, hell no! :lol

You have a good point.. BUT... We have seen Modern Avengers fight in three different films.. We have 20 plus Marvel movies.. and a few of them are truly great with some truly great/epic showdowns.

Sure we have Pacific Rim and the Godzilla reboot.. BUT IMO we have yet to get a truly great modern Kaiju film let alone a truly great modern Godzilla film..

Its why I put in the stipulation it had to be guaranteed to be great. :lol

It I was a betting man on which film would be better then It would be Avengers Endgame and thus I would pick it to be the movie to see...

But man oh man this Godzilla film is making some major promises with its clips and pics.

I have still never been as disappointed in a movie theater as I was after Godzilla 98 even though I knew the idiots behind the crap fest ID4 would probably not make a great film but I did not expect a non Godzilla Godzilla film...

Godzilla 2014 was Ok and Ok at best.. It has virtually no replay value for me in that the human story is awful and the Monster action is too little.

If this film can learn from the mistakes of the first film then Man oh man I should be a happy camper...

I think I am setting myself up for disappointment again :lol

I mean seriously how **** stash Stan Lee had the courage to do interviews out in public during the 60/70’s about comicbooks is amazing, much respect lol

That's a fair point, comic book films had to work to be taken seriously, where Godzilla actually started serious then got campy but was also always a movie.

As much as I will thoroughly enjoy Godzilla as a Godzilla movie, I don't expect it to impact on the number of levels the Avengers series has, and as much as this film will.

Again, right now it's the fact that I have more to wrap my mind around and build excitement for with Godzilla whereas Avengers, we have very little in the teaser, no images really that are real and not marketing art for toys which has a 50/50 shot of not being in the movie, I just have nothing to excite me other than the end being near. Godzilla has given 2 trailers, some kick *** poster art, toys, it's in full hype swing.

Yeah who am I kidding there's no way I'd pick Godzilla over the finale of the entire MCU as we know it but it's still fun to join in on a little classic kaiju enthusiasm, lol.

I would or could if I could get the 100% guarantee of greatness... If all my childhood dreams could be spilt onto the screen and it makes me feel like a child again..

I have only come close to feeling that way twice at the movies in my adult life. Jurassic Park T Rex scene and Cloverfield when the military shows up and is shooting rickets at the creature.

If I could get 90 min of that... Oh man.. :lol

Yup like no disrespect to the king of monsters and TOHO, I have all the main suit actors autographs, but nope.

Even the Japanese are looking more forward to AEG lol

After Aquaman I hope Godzilla has the same level of bat **** craziness but I just know they’re going to drop the ball in some manner.

Kong did not leave me with confidence.

If I wasnt worried about Avengers screwing Hulk over again I think I could side with Avengers.. But they have given him so little to do and underpowered him for so long.... It will take a WWH tyle ending to fully satisfy :lol
