Thanks for all the screen caps BTW, its nice to be able to see sole of this incredible CGI work up close.

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

And there you go!

Those pictures are some of the best I've seen. That one from the harbor is just beautiful.

I never noticed you could see Godzilla in that Harbor shot.. Very cool.

Again that Godzilla slamming Ghidorah's head... Its like the director knew exactly what was in my mind when I would think about how these big battles should go down.

2014's trailers promised the same thing for a stand alone "Bad" Godzilla movie but blew it. The trailer basically lied to us...

I don't think these trailers are lying to us at all..

The only horror would be if we have already seen 90% of the battle scenes best moments in the trailers.

:lol

...Not too fah from the cah.

Thank you, was worried people would think I was drunk typing and not get it.

So does KG get energized by lightning?

The harbor shot with the war ships reminds me of a few TOHO movies.

My impression is that it goes the other way, it’s projecting to manipulate the atmosphere, but it could be for recharging and this shot is powering up for the fight, we shall see.

Agreed, none of the ads for this film have given me any sense of how all the story will unfold, just lots of shots to make me go “wow”. The 2014 campaign hid most of the “wow” shots and mostly presented plot and one that wasn’t really true to the final film. I think they realize how many fans felt misled and have aimed the marketing to focus on excitement around what we’ll see and build no expectation around what the story is.

Looks like an Eggleton painting come to life.

Indeed, Bob’s work may have been a stylistic influence.

Thing to remember is, with all of these shots, I don’t think we’ve even seen 5 minutes of total monster footage, so there should be plenty still to come.

Yup my biggest worry that all this takes place in bits and pieces during the last 20 minutes lol

The Godzilla vs Ghidorah material is a mix of Boston and the Arctic, two very separate points in the story, with Mexico in between.

First word from CinemaCon’s extended KG and Rodan footage is this:

Freaking mind blowing!

KG entrance was terrifying and super destructive against the military, scale is off the charts engrossing!

A pilot in a jet
ejects but Rodan eats him rather viciously lol

The theater owners and press went bonkers for KG!

The same footage is going to play in front of Imax showings of Shazam this weekend, bootlegs will be coming, hopefully after the weekend it will be officially online.

Have to stay away from all this footage.

Maulfan - You gonna see this one in the theaters this time. Perhaps I am remembering wrong but didnt you miss the first one in the theaters.
