Maulfan - You gonna see this one in the theaters this time. Perhaps I am remembering wrong but didnt you miss the first one in the theaters.

You remember right, my son was due any day when the first came out, so I didn’t go to the theater, first time parent paranoia. This time I will be going at least once, and judging from what we’re seeing, probably see it a few times.

That's right.. I couldn't remember the reason.. I just remember you were so pumped for the film but never went to the theaters.. No way I love my kids that much. :lol :lol :lol

I was just nervous, getting pregnant was a big deal and I couldn't bring myself to chance anything, I was totally paranoid, now I'm like, who can babysit :lol

Not likely, but I'm holding out hope for 2014 to be shown maybe to help promote this, or maybe next year to boost Kong, run 2014, Skull Island and King of the Monsters before Godzilla vs Kong.

I would like to go to an iMAX showing of this movie, but my fiancee gets motion sickness from those so I'll have to do that on my own.

Maul are you saying that CC extended footage will be shown as is or will it be cut into a new trailer?

The CC footage was a full scene not a trailer.

So the WonderCon / CinemaCon footage is a mixed video, it's like 2-3 minutes of Ghidorah's arrival scene, followed by a lengthy, trailer style clip montage, it's not literally just a scene from the film.

As it's being promoted, what will play in front of Shazam at IMAX screenings is this same video.

Well hot damn i’m seeing Shazam Imax tonight hopefully that footage is played.

Should play. My hope is that perhaps sometime next week, after the opening weekend rush, they'll release it online officially, it's clearly something aimed to 1 draw Godzilla fans who may be on the edge as to whether to see Shazam or not to commit to going, and 2, expose fans going to Shazam who may not be too interested in Godzilla to the film in it's fullest glory on an IMAX screen and get them to want to see it, two movies sold better with one action, it's smart, just sucks for those like myself who either don't get to just go see every neat movie in theaters or aren't that interested in Shazam, but like i said, someone is bound to record it and post it, just have to keep a sharp eye on YouTube this weekend and download copies as soon as I find them because they're sure to be pulled.

By the way you have way too many obstacles blocking you from seeing a movie!

You of all people should use a questionnaire before dating:

Question 1: Do you like Kaiju movies?

Question 2: Does Imax make you nauseous?

lol

Well, I've never actually seen a movie in IMAX, the closest theater is an hour away, and not knowing what I'm missing, I've just never made it a thing to go see it.

She doesn't like Kaiju movies herself, but she endulges, she actually ended up like Kong.

It's really hard to explain to someone how much better Imax is than a normal viewing. I routinely travel 40 minutes to get there. See almost all movies in Imax if I can.

Wait until Khev reads that...

And I want to move there :lol :lol :lol

My sister lives there in LA now but she also lived in Manhattan for a long time and she tells me driving in Manhattan is a walk in the park compared to LA!

Man do I dread driving to JFK!

I just left JFK yesterday. I am in town (LI) for a wedding. Traffic here gets stoopider and stoopider every visit....
