I liked the first trailer that had silent actors and mostly just monsters, the new ones with the actors talking more have put me off.

What's great too, is the Mothra theme isn't just made for the album, it's woven into tracks from the film events and used wonderfully, one track uses it as like a "get pumped" type ending and it's incredible.

The visuals from clips, the music, this is building towards quite possibly being my all time most favorite movie.

Ha. I know I'm getting carried away, but really, 2014 for me was a let down (though I still like that movie) because they set incorrect expectations as to what the movie would be. They sold it like '54/Shin Godzilla vs some other creatures, had they been clearly that it would be just like the traditional vs films from Toho where Godzilla is an anti-hero and not at all a villain, then I would look on it differently.

This movie is being very clear about what it is up front, and because of it, I'm very excited because I enjoy the classic vs films, and this looks to be the perfect blend of everything I loved in Toho's films with all the cool aspects of a high budget production.

Oh I hear you i’m not trying to diminish your enthusiasm I think all of us here are excited to some extent even Wor-Gar lol

That being said this movie better make money or kiss US Kaiju movies goodbye including that already filmed Kong vs Godzilla.

If it’s awesome and it bombs at least we finally have a great US Godzilla movie to enjoy and for TOHO to take to their grave.

I would pay to have Wor-Gar sitting behind you for this one lol

:lol

I'm not against this movie though. One of my very first childhood movie experiences was seeing Destroy All Monsters on the big screen at some revival with some cheesy two-headed movie with Ray Milland. DAM was my Star Wars at that age and seeing that monster-fest changed my life, and for years I was all about monsters (now kaiju) -- I drew them, I made them, I hummed their themes while walking to school, uphill, both ways. So I have deep-seated hopes that this movie be good and does well.

Yeah, no matter what Maulfan will love this. He already has more stuff from this movie than any movie in his history before it opened. It would have to be an utter disaster for him to muster up any disappointment. So he's off my radar as any kind of objective reviewer.

But if he comes back from his first show with: Well, its not that its awful.... then I will be very sad.

I'm beyond spoilers, malfunction, need input.

Yep MF finally saw the footage I saw and I highly suggest no one hit play on that lol

Stay dafuq away!

But man if that isn’t hands down the best Godzilla related trailer or footage ever created...ever!

Holy F is an understatement lol

I mean how did they go from 2014 to THAT!!! :google

Burning Godzilla looks freaking glorious!

I’m half expecting now for Godzilla to land a right hook on KG and if that happens i’m going to lose my **** lol

As a lifelong Godzilla fan, I have a really good feeling about this one. I think it's going to deliver on everything I had hoped for when the 2014 movie was released and I loved Trick R Treat and Krampus, so I think this one's in good hands. I noticed a lot more young Godzilla fans at G-Fest after the 2014 one was released, and I think this movie is going to be huge in recreating the joy we felt as kids watching the old Toho films for kids of the next generation.
