I have a concern about Kong vs Godzilla for the next movie cause I like both and don't want either to lose or die. Maybe it will be like Batman v Superman where they bang heads but come together at the end.

Some reviews on Youtube are starting to appear.. Peoaple seem less then enthusiastic

As expected they say the Human characters hurt the film.

One said that the monster fights were not that great till the final. Actually kinda compared the early fights to G14 in that they were a bit of a tease as they spent more time with the humans...

All say CG and Cinematography are amazing though..


Two even said the Kong Skull Island the whole Giant monster thing better...


IDK... The thing that keeps me hopful is that I am fully aware that the world is full of idiots

Kong fighting Godzilla will be as pointless as Batman vs Superman or Marvel's Civil War. Neither will die. They'll throw a few punches, then a reach-around.

While I don't hate it as much as you. It did fall way down with my 2nd viewing.

I still like JCR and SJ in this film though.. IMO they are some of the better characters in American Kaiju cinema..

I also thought Kong vs the Military was good.

Rest was, as you say, pretty crappy.


I don't think this film can be worse then Kong... The trailers have already made it a better film.

And Ghidorah has much bigger legs here, which is good -- better than that silly toy.


I wonder if they'll actually kill Ghidorah... or will he just fly away again?

No spoiler is strong enough to spoil anything for Maulfan here. That must be his super power. I think the only spoiler that might shock him is if Ghidorah turns out to be Godzilla's father.
