His belly reminds me of Homer.

Bigger fins and a shorter tail that doesn't taper to a skinny little worm like the 2014 version. Looks excellent.

Everyone's saying spines and things look different, seems same to me, he's arched back so they're all bunched together, but even if there are small differences, he looks same enough.

No one is talking about the vessel in the water in front of him, wonder what's going on there.

You don’t see the difference in the side by side I posted?

I wonder if the sub is from the terrorist organization trying to control the monsters.

Bigger spines and a tail that seems to be thicker at the end is much better... I was hoping that they would get rid of the useless alligator arms look. I hate the arms just hanging at his sides... Worst part of the design imo. Was also hoping for some slightly larger teeth.

Thank God Edwards is not returning to direct. I have only seen two of his films but I swear, that man couldn't film an entertaining movie if his life depended on it.

Yea the whole less is more doesn’t work today if it’s a Godzilla movie. People who go to a Godzilla movie now would expect Godzilla in all his glory destroying tons of ****

Preach it brother wez.

Shin G was a decent movie that could’ve been made great had it just given us another 15-20 more solid minutes of Godzilla mayhem.

Shin G is in part a commentary about foot dragging after the Tsunami and Fukushima Nuclear disasters. I'm sure it's all from the heart but it doesn't hold up well to repeat viewing over time.

I did like Toho returning Godzilla back to a menace instead of the "savior of Tokyo" role. When he was in destructive mode he was the most dangerous version to date.

I look at shin as a zombie. Just a dead monster looking to
Destroy. No goals no nothing.
