Looks like Ghidorah is... a good guy? Or at least a chaotic force that another character unleashes? Not sure about the setup that's implied here, but it's a little dumb.

"I'm sorry, but this is the only way."

Pretty sure it's not, though. 99% sure there were other options on the table. Doing away with social media, ending the two-party system, awarding incentives to environmentally-conscious entities. But sure, your hands were tied. Let's unleash the 300-foot thunderdemon with wings. Humanity is a cancer and all that.

I mean I like this kaiju stuff, but can we lose the tired cliches? The trailer opened with "the world is changing" and my eyes rolled back further than Keaton's in Beetlejuice.

EVerything lools pretty ****in cool. I like the fire element to Rodan. The bioluminescence on Mothra looks kewl. It’s neat, all the visual differences being applied to each Monster. It’s a great way to separate them on screen to alleviate the complaints of the last film where every monster was grey. A lot seems inspired by GMK and that’s one of my favorite G movies. Im damn excited

First of all for the true Toho diehards did you ever think you would live to see a domestic Hollywood high budget version of KG, Mothra and Rodan on the big screen together no less?!

That has to be mind blowing especially given the fact that Kong and Pacific Rim haven’t necessarily been box office champs leading the charge for more Kaiju investments.

Anyways regarding the actual trailer.

Visually some really gorgeous Kaiju shots BUT overall compared to the first G14 trailer it’s pretty damn weak. Yes yes I know G14 trailer was misleading but i’m not reviewing the final movie i’m comparing just the trailers.

The narration exposition was cringe worthy sounded like something from an anime.

Movie still too dark but this time the kaiju were highlighted better than G14.

Trailer message simple yet convoluted all at the same time how can that be!

Rodan finally not laughable :lol

G14 ended so happy with everyone going to Disney World with Godzilla what happened lol

For non Kaiju fans that will be one boring trailer.

Like what fan of these monsters won’t be there opening night first show of course we all will be like duh!

And that's where my admiration ends.

There was no bigger Godzilla fan than me... when I was 10. Ghidorah was "my man". It's fun to see them re-envisioned... but preposterous as a real-world movie. I know now why my parents had zero interest in the world of Godzilla. :lol

Hmm never thought of that. Hope we still get Gamora

Gamera is NOT Toho.

And Gamora is from GOTG.

I loved KG lightning ripping thru the building and overhead shot of Rodan flying over the city leaving a wake of destruction.

KG opening his wings had a cool practical look to it and reminded me of GMK.

So this is a re-imagining of Ghidorah: the Three-headed monster...? Or they just use the same monsters from that?

Why didn't they just jump to Destroy ALL Monsters and be done with the MonsterVerse?
