Damn, that soon?

Just checked and looks like it's down to just two theaters in my area by Saturday, so gonna have to grab another ticket. I was planning to wait til streaming, but the more I think back on this movie the more I want to experience the whole thing again on the big screen.
It was a limited engagement. Some are hoping for an extra week or two since it’s doing well. I looked at my regal app and it’s not playing around here after Thursday and it was in 3 theaters

Damn I have jye to thank then because I was going to do Silent Night this past weekend and GMO next weekend but looks like if I had waited I would have missed my chance! Being among the few to see this on the big screen is a special thing indeed!

Gareth Edwards on GMO:

"There were a lot of things that I felt were very new for Godzilla, and I felt jealous the whole time I was watching the movie. This is what a Godzilla movie should be. [Godzilla Minus One] must be mentioned as a candidate for the best Godzilla movie of all time.”

:rock

WHAT!? Seriously...?

This is some weird Alt-verse where Godzilla movies are good and moving and MCU movies suck horribly and are for kids only.
That’s what I’m saying. It’s absolutely insane how Godzilla is getting huge hype right now while Disney and marvel are struggling. What a year.

That's very cool of him to say.

This was mentioned earlier, but I haven't seen any replies or speculation....

What was going on with her neck at the end when they were hugging? Was it just her hair? Were my eyes were playing tricks? Was she tainted by something? Considering the director said there won't be a sequel, I'm thinking it's going to remain unanswered.

Oppenheimer the second best WWII atomic themed movie of the year, lol.
I still haven't seen that. I need to be in the right frame of mind for those type of flicks. I was going to watch the blu-ray yesterday but then decided to see GMO instead. Now I'm in too good of a mood to watch it lol. Maybe once my buzz has worn off I'll try again. When are the Oscars again?

My Shin screenings were dead there were like 6 audience members.

MO were sold out both times!

My jaw was on the ground i’m not even kidding lol
I didn't realize that GMO was in so few theaters so was shocked at the amount of people pouring in at 1:00 pm on a Sunday.

1,300 fewer screens than Hunger Games yet it was only $3 million behind!

I think
it's just meant to signify that she's got radiation sickness (like many had in post-war Japan), but technically she was caught by the aftershock wave so there are already some pretty outlandish theories out there, including that somehow she was infected/impregnated by Godzilla. :lol If so she better opt for an early term cesarean. :horror

One theory that I do find interesting is that

Noriko was exposed to Godzilla DNA (G-Cells per previous Godzilla movies) and the infection might have helped her survive/regenerate from her injuries.

Hey, that would make Norika a mutant, akin to Wolverine. I just thought of a way to save the MCU - Can you say crossover? :lol
