Well, to be fair, before gorilla-whale or most superhero movies....

We're both established and right at home in NY, very inviting to giant beasts.
That said yeah Gorilla-whale San, tends to have his own stomping ground.

Always irked me that people blamed the Zoo for that Gorillas death, and not the parent. They are one of the most endangered and poached species in the wild. To counter that, this gorilla was born in captivity, in of the most successful programs to breed them back.
In part payed for by sharing them with visitors and the ability to see them, which they try to make as inviting open air, and un-cage like as possible.
To get into the enclosure, this kid went "under a rail, through wires and over a moat wall " while the parant was uncountable, to save him keepers ended up having to shoot the one they were really trying to protect.
Yet the Zoo got blamed for everything, and not the negligent parent?

Anyway, our relationship with the supposed "beasts" has always been a contentious one, hence in our movies where we play out our own guilt, where they are always trying to get revenge and destroy us.
As it should be!
