Hastings deals rock. I rejoice any time I actually have an order go through. As long as it gets to me and the figure is fine. I could care less about the box.

That's how I look at it too.At those prices I could care less about a cardboard box. I just got the Iron Mam Mark III during the last sale and while the box was not perfect the figure was.. Just always remember these are generally pulled of a store shelf somewhere and sent to you (at really reduced prices). So long as i get the figure all is well and if I don't, well there is a refund policy I believe. If you want mint pay full price and buy direct.

I had a horrible experience with gohastings. I ordered a lost predator for $120 new. It came opened and the figure was obviously displayed before with the gohasting sticker on the bottom of the figure base and the netting was already on the figure. Not a big deal you say right? How about the fact that the waist armor was broken, one of the shoulder armor broken, AND the mask bio was completely missing!! I will never ever buy from them again. That's just my experience.

I had a similar experience with a HT John Connor. Mine arrived with a dusty base and the tip of the rifle had been reglued. It was either displayed at the store or returned by a customer and then sent to me. Paid about $100 shipped, still. I've ordered a few other figures with no issues. 3 of 4 ain't bad.

Still worth a shot, IMO. They take returns if you're unhappy. I got several perfect figures for cheap. But you have to accept the fact that you might get poop in box.

^^^^^^^:lecture

Stay away from Hastings everyone.:exactly:

yeah. stay away so that I can have the better picks. :wave

As stated, gohastings take returns, gives refunds, and is all around totally on the level. They make mistakes, you know why? Because they are like a WALMART. If you shop at a WALMART expecting Saks Fifth Avenue, then I don't know what to say.

The worst thing that happened to me through gohastings is when I placed an order for a HT Leonidas earlier in the year during their special. They screwed up my order by flipping the billing and shipping address. Imagine someone sending you your item at the right street address, but in a completely wrong town. Whats worse was that there was no such address in my billing town...so the post office shipped it to another town nearby figuring that was the right address.

I contacted gohastings and after 2 phone calls to their customer service line, they immediately saw the error and issued a refund (since they didn't have any extras in their stores that they could send as a replacement). Thought my $120 was gone initially. With all the bad things you hear about gohastings, they did the right thing. That was the 1st and only time that I've ever had problems with them over the past couple of years. Grabbed a bunch of decent stuff dirt cheap from them. And I'd buy from them again.

So did you even bother calling Hastings and report it to customer service? Or did you just sit on your laurels because you wanted something to whine to people about? :huh

Weird. I hear horror stories all the time about hastings sending figures in envelopes and being smashed and such... but everything I have ever received from them was well packaged and promptly mailed. I guess I should count myself lucky?

In my experience, it is a complete crap shoot. But if you don't like taking chances, you can order elsewhere. There is really no risk with Hastings because they will refund you if you are unhappy with the condition of the package.

I really hope Hastings has a Black Friday sale on figures. I'm a cheap ******* and there's some stuff I really want to pick up from them.

I've been lucky with Hastings:

SS ANH Luke, Leia, and Han @$30.00 ea.
SS ROTLA Indy @$50
HT IRON MAN MARK I @$100
SS Indy PF @ $200

Each time, the figures came quickly and were well packed. The SW figure all had some shelf wear, but since I was opening them, it was cool.

I'll definitely order from them again.
