I got taxed but both Alien figures come out to $135 shipped and thats a steal regardless of tax or shipping. I guess it comes down to what you buy and when you buy it from them. But yeah taxes suck ass!

I called and asked if I could use the discount in store to not get shipping charged and they said no! Shipping plus Texas taxes would be close to $20 I think so i't would only save me like $15 bucks instead of $35.

Yeah, bummer the sales don't work in store.

I know they will have 20% off in-store for action figures, but I'm not sure how its advertised. Last one they had in my town I found out about 2 days after it ended

Broke down and got Whiplash. Was going to get Big Chap, but all the horror stories about what people have received from gohastings make me think twice about getting it through them. Save about $20.

Yeah, I'll take having a local Hastings over Sideshow

One upside of a local Hastings though is sometimes they have crazy blow-out prices on 1/6 figures. In the past I've gotten a Boromir for $13, Springwood Slasher for $14 and a Legacy Bond (Moore) for $11

Although now I think too many people are aware of them and rather than figures rotting locally and getting discounted; they sell them on-line and then ship them out I've haven't seen a crazy 1/6 deal in nearly a year

Yeah, I miss those good old days when they would put a sale item on sale. I check back with about every other day to see if they have some sought afters come back into stock. I have had such a good experience with getting cheap figures that they will stay on my bookmark page. I got my second Wolverine after they disappeared from everywhere. Got a Batman DX for $108 before shipping with them. With deals like that, Ill risk it.

I decided to go with the FX lightsaber. I been wanting to replace my old luke Empire saber that I lost and figure this was a good time. Besides, I couldn't find a hot toys or sideshow figure that I really wanted. or that I don't already have. with tax and shipping ended up saving about $15 dollars. but I used gift cards so technically didn't use any money. I was actually going to get another 501st trooper as it should available but when I tried to add to cart it was no longer available. I still have $22 in gift cards to use on something in the future.
