i brought out my good ol' N64 and decided to reawaken some great past time memories. one game impeticular that i fell in love with was Goldeneye, based off the awsome Bond movie of the same name. i actually played the game before i saw the movie, so when i saw the film i couldnt believe how close the game got to the look of it lol. when i watch the movie, i cant help but think of the game! it was probably one of the first really good movie-based games.

Man, I played that thing out...really pissed people off playing multiplayer as oddjob...ha! I always loved the Moonraker laser, but golden gun mode in multiplayer was the best...a race for the one shot kill...so many good memories there. Though I can live without it, I really only keep my N64 around to play Ocarina of Time :)

Honestly, I think they should make an updated version of the game.. it was THAT classic. Heck, they could just make a multiplayer game based upon some/most/all of the old maps and it would own.

I used to play the hell out of this game. I used to love to kill people via slaps...the old school version of Teabagging. :lol

I haven't paid in a long time....

must refraiin from minimodding...must refrain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!!!!oneone

this game was hella fun until some guy at a party handed our ***** to us because he had all the maps memorized and also just was too good at avoiding shots. i still think he had some code that made him invincible or something.

many hours of my life were put into this game. loved the multiplayer mode. also liked running people over with the tank and hearing that crunch/screaming sound.

Loved the hell out of it when I was in college, but haven't played in years. Baron Semedi was my favorite, but OddJob was the cheapest.

Great freakin' game.

The best was killing the guys that were on the bowl. That was in Goldeneye no? Or am I mixing up my games in my old age?

haha yeah thats the level im on right now, where you go into the bathroom and shoot the guys in the stalls. its amazing how mnay ppl love this game!! i used to love it in multiplayer when i was a kid. right now im only on the 2nd level....been trying to beat it alll day!! im good up until i when i meet with alec and then a million guards starting comin in and its like what do i dooo!!? does anyone remember?

Love this game. Had all the maps memorized. Buddies and I, we used to play Proximity Mines and since we all knew where you spawned, the first person to spread them out throughout the level would always win :lol:lol:lol:lol

They had an updated map version of this for Counter-Strike, but that was a long time ago. If the Wii actually had this to play online, I might actually turn on my Wii.

....Also, Rare (or whoever owns Rare now) needs to stop making Perfect Dark games and remake this one; it would sell millions

What I loved about it was it was so adaptable. You could cycle backwards/forwards through the weaponry, use the mines as grenades with spectacular results, strap a lump of C4 to the missile in the silo, detonate it and, with invincibility enabled, just run through the level watching everything disintegrate around you.I was nt into video games but my Sister bought me a N64 and Goldeneye for Christmas in 1997 and I could nt put it down.Took me three months to crack invincibility,Dr.Doak would never appear when you wanted him,but I finally hit 1:47 and im still proud of that, even though im sure it s slow by most standards. You can still see it s fingerprints today in COD:MW2.

Greatest game ever imo.

Try this.

On the last set of tanks, place one mine on the inner edge of the tank.So you ve got One mine for each pair, and then one to blow out four. You can make for the door as soon as Alec starts talking so then throw your remaining one mine on the floor near the doors. When the guards swarm in detonate them and you ll take all the guards out as well.
