Goldeneye for N64...who else loves it??

I loved Godeneye. One of the best games ever. I had one friend who always picked Oddjob during 4 player because the little ******* was so hard to see.

Yep, him and the moonraker elites would be so small, shooting them would be a pain in the ass with the Golden Gun levels

If they kept this game basically the same except for bumping up the graphics, adding 5.1, and getting rid of the slow-down I would be all over this!

Although I think a lot of the nostalgia came from playing with neighborhood friends and family members. Playing first person shooters online with the "hardcore" can loose it's appeal when others get too serious.

That's why Halo 3 and CoD MW are not that fun online...at least for my taste.

But yeah, I have very fond memories of this game as a teenager.

Activision Snaps Up Goldeneye Game Domain

It seems as if the world's biggest publishers have had a busy week this week snapping up domains for unannounced or undefined games.

If Activision's latest domain hunting antics are anything to go by, it looks like they have a Goldeneye game up their sleeves.

Superannuation were at it again as they spotted that Activision had snapped up the domain for goldeneyegame.com.

Chances are that it's a remake of the classic Goldeneye title are slim, you know, with all the licensing issues, but if reports from last year are anything to go by, it could be an all new Goldeneye title.

Although those reports only mentioned a Wii version of the title, Activision aren't one for creating Wii exclusive titles... you know, because of much higher attach rates on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That and Eurocom did work on the port for Treyarch's last Bond title, The Quantum of Solace.

In other Bond news, Activision also snapped up the domain, bloodstonegame.com, perhaps paying more credence to the HMV slip from earlier this week regarding James Bond: Bloodstone.

Activision have already promised more Bond for this year, so time will tell if these pan out to be genuine titles, rather than just conjecture.

Hopefully it will be just like the original with better graphics and maybe having the characters actually being able to speak this time. If they start changing things around, I don't think it will hold the same appeal as the original.

I played 4 split screen with my friends all the time before we went out to the bars back in the day.

so much fun.

I loved Goldeneye as much as the next guy but didn't they already try a remake?

We currently have the 2nd best Bond in history. Why not a new game with Craig?

It truly is the best multiplayer game EVER...I never had as much fun with my friends playing games as we did with Goldeneye.

Oddjob was illegal. My one friend used to piss me off so much when he would kill me with a slap using May Day...god I hated Grace Jones.

I never understood why Oddjob was so small. Did the makers mix him up with Nick Nack or something? Oddjob was a big guy. Not Jaws big, but still not the midget they made him in the game.

My personal favorite was Jaws. Sure he was walking target, but he as scary looking, especially when he started getting bloddy
