Yeah, but it's a step in the right direction.

I think SS deserve a well done for it.

Hope they continue to give us a display option for the unused change-out piece.

I like the set up and I like that Sideshow went that extra step in giving collectors a way of displaying both pieces. I'll probably display Gollum on the PF and Smeagol on the base.

I hope that Sideshow considers such display options for future PFs. Nice work!

Finally we got the email! I'm very happy with what we have been shown, even though I will probably not be able to hold onto the Gollum for very long, he's no longer in the budget. But what has been produced is far better than I could have imagined. Definitely looks great with Smeagol on the extra base and Gollum posed full body.

I really like this! Now I just have to hope that the finances stay the way they need to be so that I can keep my order. (Too many winter-related health issues this year; my statue $$ is going to my doctor!)

They haven't even charged the first flexpayment, so I'd say it'll be at least another 3-4 months.

No doubt in my mind....the combination of a PF and 1/4 scale bust in one package is one of the best idea's I can ever recall from SS.

Do yourself a favour though, try to avoid ever seeing this in person, because SS's pic's never do justice to the in hand product and if you "almost regret passing on this" now, you'll definitely regret passing on it shouild you see it in person.
