The last time i checked the insults in his post were still there, but you have edited them out, so all is fine. I'm not trying to ruin anyone's enjoyment or acting childish, i'm genuinely trying to speak out against rude posts or comments when i see them because we shouldn't be seeing them, and in that case i think we're all heading in the right direction.

Sorry Shell, I just couldn't take anymore of that SS global conspiracy nonsense anymore. On a positive note however, it's always a good thing when two like-minded individuals find each other here on the forum...here's hoping they are very happy together.

And on yet another note, instead on whining, _____ing, complaining or engaging in conspiracy theories I have chosen another path. Namely, I've contacted SS directly and voiced the numerous concerns/complaints by members here surrounding Gollum and the International version situation. I am pleased to report that SS's Customer Service Manager, Mike Tolentino, has gotten back to me and informed me that either he personally, or another SS rep. will be coming to this thread and addressing our issues. No doubt, they are going to find many of the slanderous remarks that have been permitted in this thread disturbing, but I have already forewarned as to what to expect so hopefully it won't come as too much of a shock.

Awesome! For the record, I don't like or approve of the current International Edition strategy. If you wanna do an International Edition, then why not announce it at the same time as the original. There could have been a Domestic Exclusive order link with the 500 edition size and a second International Edition link with either the 1000 (or whatever) edition size listed or TBA like many other product order opportunities.

On a side note, I'm not a conspiracy theorist and I ordered the International Edition as well as the Domestic Exclusive.

Oh and thirdly, since a Sideshow rep will be coming to this thread, can you please confirm (1000?) the edition size of the International Edition Gollum and whether an individual number will printed on the bottom of the base? Please and thank you.

EDIT: After giving this some further thought I think I answered my own question. The International Edition isn't immediately available for order on the site because it's meant for dealers not the general public. Therefore, if there are some left after International dealers place their orders, they are available through the site. Can I get a cookie?

I just want them to ship this, I don't really care what the edition is, I've got an empty spot on my shelf just waiting for this. I ordered it because I liked it, the rest is irrelevant to me.

Hmm, that's great news that this will be addressed woodsy I would like to know what the difference is between the two versions besides the base and if they are truly the same, the reason they have 2 versions instead of 1. So far I don't see anything slanderous against Sideshow, pretty much just the facts which are:

-This product had an NRD
-There is no mention of another edition on the Sideshow website
-Preorders of the international version were emailed to international and non-international buyers alike
-International version was not put up on their website for sale
-Details or edition sizes of the international version cannot be found anywhere
-Customers who did not call or visit this website were unaware that this international edition existed.

To be confirmed:
-The International version and sideshow Domestic version are the exact same except for the base

No, unlike some previous posts in this thread everything you have said is refreshingly 100% accurate and factual. And every single concern that you, Fritz and others have pointed out were brought to the attention of SS as I too believe these are all legitimate concerns.

It is however one thing voice one's displeasure over something such as an International version [something that I too am absolutely against]....it is quite another to claim as 'factual' that this is all part of SS's business plan deliberately designed to confuse and deceive us in an attempt to separate us from our money. If you are going to make that kind of a claim publically then you better have a copy of SS's business plan/model in your possession because if you don't you've left yourself wide open to a lawsuit......and why anyone in their right mind would deliberately expose themself to a potential lawsuit like that is beyond me. Not only that, this website has also left itself wide open to a lawsuit for allowing comments like this to be posted. And no, I'm not pulling that theory out of thin air, I'll let others play those games.....I still prefer the old-fashioned method of backing up my opinions with trivial things such as real facts.

Woodsy has an intense interest in all things Sideshow and i honestly think he should look into getting a job with them. His obsession, and the depths he goes into and the amount of his personal time he spends dedicating himself to them really is admirable, to the extent i wonder whether he has time to fit anything else into his intense lifestyle!
I really do think he would make a great Sideshow employee

Well, to be fair if people throw out things that are totally baseless in a way that leaves them open it could happen. It would all depend on the claims being made of course but people don't think about that when just posting whatever they want on the net.
