Holy Merciful Zeus, I used to love the Zork games!! In fact I used to play these at school.:lol

love the av and sig!!

Thanks, man. I got bored at work and figured it was time for a change.

I found Infocom's site and you can download the game for free, so I plan on doing that this weekend to relive some memories.

I used to go to a pub that had a thing going on where you were given a list of all of the beers that they had there (at the time, there were about 165). After you tried one of each (edit - of 25 of them) you became a squire. After you got caught up (they kept adding, so it was tough) you were a "Knight of the Round Table". Once every so often, they would close the pub for a night and throw a chamagne party for the new knights. It was free for everyone (that was a knight). Then, as knight, you were given a free sample of any new brew that was sold at the pub in order to keep you current.

I went through darks, lights, ales and the God of beer only knows what else. And I came to one conclusion:

Most of them were trendy and came and went. And really were not that tasty (Ever have a Saporo Extra Dark? They poor like 30 wt motor oil, but don't taste as good as motor oil.). The really good ones to me are the basic old reliables.

Make mine Michelob or Grain Belt. Keep the trendy stuff.

Just make sure everyone goes to the Yard House in San Diego during SDCC!!! Hella beers, like 130 different types on tap! Got mad drunk everytime I go to SD there. Killer "bar food" too!

All this talk of beer is making me thirsty. Looks like I'm stopping by the liquor store on the way home.

Being a drunk just means your current state, and it's impossible to be drunk 24/7.

Alcoholics are people who have no will power... or is it "will not power"? and have to get drunk pretty much every day. Most of their money and time is spent either drinking or obsessing about the thought of drinking.

Alchies... you suck!

I think Sam Adam's Light is the best beer out there. Followed closely buy Yuengling. But I mosty enjoy just Bud. Not that light watered down crap either.

favorite beer?..........*hiccup*....................COLD BEER !!!!!!!!!!....................:lecture

Fat Tire
Anchor Steam
Newcastle
Sam Adams

I like Guiness, but only in Ireland - the stuff we get here isn't as good. However whenever I have the chance a Black & Tan (usually made with Guiness and Harp) is what I'll choose every time.

For the beer lovers Belgium must be heaven: I think we have the widest variety (even for being a very small country) and the abbey beers.

Here is a link of a bet of drinking ten Duvels within the hour and after that keep sitting for 30 minutes on your chair without faltering - see how it ends....
