Are you on the square?
I had a Duvel once. Aren't those like 9 or 10% beers?

I'm a big fan of Bare Ass Blond. A good lager from DuClaw's
that's how i make mine. of course im from MN too. we know how to drink right, up here. cheers krayt.B&T's are made with Bass ale, at least around here.
I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. Anyways name your poison. Most Fridays I get online and research beers and then go to the store buy em and try em. LOL! So what do you like!
My 3 favorites are dry Irish stouts
Guinness
Murphy's
Beamish
that sam adams cherry wheat is awesome. i recommended this to a girl i work with cuz she says how much she likes berry wiess. she said she couldnt take more than 1 sip cuz it tasted like cough medicine. No offense. But, after 10 Duvels I'd wanna die. I can't stand that beer.
My faves are:
Keegan Ales (a great local brewery by where I live):
Mother's Milk and Old Capital mixed like a Black & Tan, called "Old Mother"

the Super Kitty they brew once a year is 12.5% alcohol. They only brew 500 bottles of it. I have one that I got as a gift last X-Mas. I am saving it till this years comes out, then I am gonna drink it. The longer you let it age, the better it tastes.
I also like Saranac: Pumpkin Ale, Black Forest, and others.
Sam Adams: Cherry Wheat, Summer Ale, White Ale, Octoberfest, Winter Lager, and others.
Finally....Rogue: Hazelnut Brown Nectar is also one of my faves.
Guinness and Bass Ale is also known as a Black & Tan.
Many, many more.....that's just what I have been driking lately.
I am curious. What standards are we using to determine how good the beer is? Is this a contest of alcohol content and how fast it can get you drunk? Is this a contest of true beer flavor? Or is this a contest of flavor in general? I ask because I have to wonder about choices that some people find to taste like cough medicine.
It's pretty easy. Good beer don't taste like this.
