More because Hellboy isn't as iconic as Iron Man or Batman, and doesn't have the fanbase of Predator or Terminator. Since the memory of the movie has faded for some, that's probably played a role, as well. I'm sure the price would temporarily spike if another Hellboy film were made.

And personally, I thought the sequel was every bit as good as the first film, if not better.

I would like to get that figure myself one day. Looks great.

Its a great figure... kind of wish the body was like the new jointed designs, but still an awesome figure :rock

I agree, the sequel was very good. Different from the first movie, but that's what made it a good sequel. Hope they're able to make a 3rd film.

The detail on the figure is great... ANd I'd say he's ALSO very iconic... I'm pretty sure when I get him on my desk at the office none of my coworkers will have a hard time recognizing him! :D

Good to know a 3rd film is in the works :duff

And I'm not sure I'd say HB is better than T1, maybe Iron Man... but T1 is a classic that few films can beat.

I love the figure and the sequel. I thought the second film was actually better then the first. They made Abe a primary character in the second that was really lacking in the first. I hope del Toro makes a third. Wake you ought to look into getting Abe, he is as good if not better figure then HB and if you look, can probably still get him for retail. They make a great set.

Hey that was supposed to be mine! :lol

No seriously though I was watching it but I wasn't 100% that I wanted it and money seems to be running in all directions except my wallet right now. Congrats man! :clap

On a side note, I just think it's funny to read on the boards when someone wins something or is watching something that I am too. Same thing has happened with gohastings for me a few times as well and then the person posts on this board about it :lol.

Regarding the movie, I actually prefer the 2nd film. Popularity wise, I don't think Hellboy is as popular or as iconic as many of the other heroes we have from various companies thus far. Still awesome, and still recognizable, but not as popular or recognizable as IM, Bats, Wolverine, etc. He** that's why I was kind of hoping to get one for a little cheaper now that he's been out for a bit.

The really weird part was how LATE the auction was ending. Like 3 am ET. I thought for sure I would lose it. I placed my bid at 12:30 et. I was pleasantly surprised to find I'd won!

I also bought a bunch of stuff off gohastings this month! lol. The deals were just too good to pass up... Marcus Wright, Big Chap and t-600 SHIPPED for under 400$?! Unbeatable. Retail alone puts them over 470$

HB I was good, it grew on me after I watched it 2x. HB II was garbage IMO. But I agree with Voorhees, there is NO comparison to the Cameron Terminator franchise........having said that, I do <3 my HT Hellboy...............
