The really weird part was how LATE the auction was ending. Like 3 am ET. I thought for sure I would lose it. I placed my bid at 12:30 et. I was pleasantly surprised to find I'd won!

I also bought a bunch of stuff off gohastings this month! lol. The deals were just too good to pass up... Marcus Wright, Big Chap and t-600 SHIPPED for under 400$?! Unbeatable. Retail alone puts them over 470$

Don't know how new you are to the hobby, but it's funny (to me) that you bought stuff off gohastings and a few months ago Hellboy was going for under $130 on their site.

Wish I could have gotten in on that action. I'm already a proud HT Hellboy owner, but I have been meaning to pick up a second one to keep safely packed away. Just haven't found a reasonable price yet.

Yeah I could have stayed up to sniper it as it ended around midnight my time I believe. Truthfully though if it was bid over the initial amount then I wasn't going to bid and by that time I think there were 3 bids on it so I just headed for bed.

I did the same thing with "go" myself. Purchased a John Connor, Mystique "AH", Bank Robber Joker, Batman DX and hopefully a T800...still waiting on ship confirmation for that one.

I lucked out and got my T600 on Evilbay for $109 shipped. The only problem was the guy sent me the Martin Laing version and I can't get over the gun and backpack so he's supposedly sending me another one of the regular versions.

:lol I bet gohastings will be running some sales soon as I'm pretty sure they are going to see their high end figure sales sink like the Titanic now that the code is done and the sale is off. I know I'm not buying anything from them for a bit....want that Dent for $50 or I'm not getting out the wallet! :impatient: :lol

I was actually watching that auction. Was going to bid on it, but ended up winning another auction for around the same price.

I used to own the figure and ended up selling it on Ebay last year. Totally regretted it. You'll love Hellboy. He's very detailed.

I just got mine last week for a price close to yours from a boardie. Gotta agree, absolutely love the figure...just wish he had been designed with jointed shoulders.

That Hellboy was my first Hot Toys figure. Absolutely love it. It got me into a very expensive hobby that I love. Hmm, maybe I should be hating it instead? lol

i have 1 and my advice to you is not to pose too long with the elbow bent. Coz mine has a tear. Similar on abe....love these 2 figs so much and the tear really pi$$ me off..

HB1 was a very meh movie. HB2 was better but nothing outstanding.

As good as T1? Maybe Terminator Salvation . . .

Both Hellboys were significantly better than that piece of garbage excuse for a Terminator sequel. Better stories, better acting, better special effects, better direction (not even in the same league), just better.

I gotta say guys here's how they rank with me...

T2 (All time classic)

Hellboy I (Pretty good. Made me want a sequel)

Terminator Salvation (Better on the second viewing. Special FX are top notch. Action Top notch.)

Hellboy 2 (After rewatching it last night: This is a kids story with a thousand cliches. From the 'princess bride' storybook reading scene at the beginning to the hokey "Red, you got to make it, I'm pregnant" 'resurrection' scene to the slew of convenient and contrived coincidences ... Abe just so happens to see the princess!? C'mon now... Also ABE is a lame character in this movie. Love struck and stupid... and we're supposed to believe the characters are in love so fast? No way. Also, the scene where red and abe get drunk... thats the WORST drunk acting I've ever seen. "Excuse me Ocifer!")

Quite possibly the worst review I've ever read. You clearly missed everything this film offered.

I've watched it twice and BOTH times it nearly put me to sleep. I'm sorry you don't agree with me... but you also don't bother making any points to refute what I said.

Go back and watch Princess Bride and tell me Hellboy doesnt DIRECTLY RIP the entire opening sequence 'story' from it. Not to mention that it practically the same opening montage from Lord of the Rings with the Crown instead of the Rings. It even gets divided among the combatants at the end like the rings do. I've never read the comic book, but I can't believe that this was taken from the book.s

A gigantic goblin with a mechanical hand bursts into an auction and the guy leading the auction asks the prince "What are you doing?" Dude, I don't care what the crown is worth, a giant goblin crashes my party, I'm out da door!

Oh and lets not forget the convenience of the legless troll cart dude showing up exactly where and when he needs to so our heroes can NOT only find the entrance to the Prince's hidden city BUT save Red from the silver arrow head in the process... C'mon, good films COMPLICATE the lives of the characeters. NOT make things neat and easy for them. Where was the dilemma or drama in that?

Oh and (sorry for the multiple posts btw) what exactly is the goblin old lady scared of with the canary?! It's not like the canary became ravenous and was dying to rip its way out of the cage... again, just easy...

"There's no way I'm showing you where the ultra secret super hidden city is!!! Over my dead body"

"What about if I show you this little bird?!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHH OVER THERE! OVER THERE!"

pfff.

Lame. Such a shame too cuz the first one was fun. this movie is Terminator 3 bad
