I'm passing on all of the Jabba stuff. To me it's not really part of this line. Jabba is barely posable, you can just move his arms up and down, so he's not really in the league of the 1/6th scale figures anymore, the total thing costs around $350 so he's pretty much a Premium Format figure and if I was going to spend that much on something I would rather just go for General Grievous or Boba Fett. Seriously, there's very little you can do with the Jabba set, just place the stuff there and go "Wow" and that's it, the rest of the 1/6th line at least allow you to change their pose, add many accessories and change their clothes, with Jabba you can't really do anything.

Anyways, that's the reason I'm not getting him, wish I could get the Yoda bust but it's too expensive, so I'm just going to go for the Bib Fortuna and Boushh figures.

Also ordered it all. I did FlexPay on the throne room though. Glad that was available for it.:chew

I ordered it, but I'm a frickin idiot, because I shouldn't be spending almost $400 dollars on food when there's awesome toys like this being made!

edit: OK, so this ships first quarter 07? Yeah, ok, so this will be my birthday/x-mas gift. There. Problem solved.

Too rich for my blood and not enough room. I'll order Leia when she's available but that's it... if they start making less prominent characters like Bib then I'll actually be able to pass on future offerings.
And $350? BEFORE shipping? I think I might actually save for the PF Spike after all.

You can pose Jabba next to Han like in the Ep. 5, when Jabba and Han have their little talk.

I ordered all three - I agree, if you ordered all, you should get a 'deal'

I assume that the only reason that the Throne set is $200 is due to it being produced in limited numbers (compared to Jabba) and thus the need for SS to up the price to see a profit? I love SS, but that item is not worth $200 - I am justifying in my head as part of the set - which looks fantastic, but that particular item seems $100 too much, IMO.

100% agreed.

That's part of what convinced me to order the whole set. Also, when I figured out the dimensions and measured it out in my collection room...that sealed the deal for me. This thing is massive on the level of a PF.

I will be passing on the Leia Boushh and Bib Fortuna now, and I also cancelled both my Legacy Collection Sean Connery Bond and Exclusive Qui-Gon Jinn to help keep my pre-orders somewhat in check (besides...the version on display at SDCC doesn't look as good as the prototype to me).

Flexpay was the saving grace for me. I can spread the throne out over three months, and I don't mind paying the $20 cancellation fee if need be (heck, I'll be paying that in a few weeks when I cancel my Luke/Yoda PF and also from Corner Store Comics with my RAH Rocketeer).

I went for the whole shabang as well...

I just hope the throne's box is big enough for me to live in when arrives...

...but seriously. It's expensive but then again, it's quite a package. i'm glad it's not due til after the first of the year....leaves plenty of time to budget accordingly.

And what a way to launch "Scum and Villiany" eh?

Yeah, I think it spread the first two payments at $66 and the last one at $68 for the throne room. If not for this, I would have probably passed on it. I do agree with some of the other members when they say that this piece should not cost $200 though.

I just ordered all three sets. I love the environment idea and creating a dio like this is just a fantastic way for SSC to take the line. This is really a brilliant way to display the figures and I'm thrilled about it. I hope they do a Throne room for displaying Vader, Emperor Palpatine and a Guardsman or two next.
Only thing is, for me this just turned me away from completist and into an original trilogy kind of guy, mostly at least. I still plan on having Darth Maul and Qui Gon in my collection. But I can't afford the space or the money to do everything I'd like to. I just put my Exclusive Kit Fisto up for sale and I was already selling my Anakin exclusive. I'm going to focus a little more tightly.
With all of this, and the Hot Toys stuff, SSC Terminator etc., not to mention my interests in military subjects, I'm just needing to draw a line in the sand, collecting wise so to speak.
