I also ordered, but I imagine dealers will be selling it cheaper so that may be the way to go. For the expensive stuff the edition size makes a big difference on how cheap you can find the item for. And being that I'm broke due to all thats coming out, I looking for the best deal.

yeah i think im gonna cancel my luke/yoda PF in order to free cash for him. also might axe Boba PF as he's not a favorite character to me.

Probably won't be getting this, but it looks great. One thing I find funny is that it is basically a life size version of the gentle giant bust.

I've got mine on order... I'm not 100% convinced yet but I'm excited to see it in person.

I actually think the Yoda and Luke Primium format looks better to my eyes.

However, this is the one 1:1 bust I knew I'd get once the line was announced.

I intend to cancel my Luke/Yoda, the biggest reason I was getting it is due to Yoda. The base is awesome and it'd be great to have, but because of those yucky words (money and space) I must choose. Yoda it will be.

I ordered him as soon as I dealt with all that Jabba stuff. I too cancelled my Luke/Yoda order 5 days ago. I decided that I had come to like the PF Luke and would wait for Yoda on his own. Well, He's here and I ain't waiting!!! :chew :chew

Well if anyone wants me to eat my words, I know I said I'd never get another bust after Maul. I think I've changed my mind. I'm going to wait a little while to see if GG is ever going to talk about their life-size statue and also wait for retailers to get him.

I asked about the GG Yoda. They said that they will eventually sell it for $820. Sideshow's Yoda is $550. They are both nice looking, but I have to say that Sideshow's looks better, and for almost $300 less. To me, it just looks like Yoda jumped off the screen. Incredibly well done. There is no way that I could recommend the GG Yoda over the SS bust based on cost OR quality.

yes that will be a must have for me as well. i have palpatine's cane, lightsaber, and hopefully PF for display. for yoda i have both his lightsabers so now MR just needs to make the cane.

Having a full body statue would be awesome though. But 550 is going to be hard enough to get, so 820 would be really bad. Plus I haven't the slightest idea where I would put a full bodied Yoda. Maybe in the front yard like a lawn gnome?

I'm not sure on this one either. If there was any single character I would consider the life scale bust for, this would have to be it. I like my 1/6 & 1/4 & mini-busts for the majority.

But a huge Yoda? Maybe. If it was any character it would have to be yoda. Life-Scale humans kinda creep me out.

Thank you so much! That makes my decision a lot easier. I really like the GG Yoda, but I've always wanted the ESB version. And I can't imagine anything ever beating SS's quality. The thing looks so damn real. Can't wait to see the flood of that piece of crap Rubies one on eBay when people get a look at this. Just look at the difference in the hair, yet alone the sculpt.

$820 is a lot for that Yoda and I wouldn't be surprised to see it come down closer to about $500 in the secondary market. I will definately take a wait and see approach with that one. But I will be eating my words and getting a second life-size bust.

I agree Tom, I am not a fan of the PT; but the GG didn't even look much like the CG Yoda. The GG Yoda had a few issues: the skin tone was not very good, and the facial sculpt not quite right.

That's a good pic LOTRFan. The lighting there makes the bust look better than any other I've seen. I thought it was a film shot at first.
