Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

I'm so over the zombie craze and it sneaking into all of my games.

But contrary to some, I actually like the music in the game. I'd go on a limb to say I love it.

Me as well, but for the scale of the map. It would open a lot of doors to possibilities. Not the run of the mill Zambeez game I gather.

Has anybody else had a bizarre "Scooter brothers" moment when switching to Trevor?

That is a reference to a very popular video from gta4 by a fella named brad who broadcasted the game back in o8

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Kept hearing complaints about the music selection in GTAV, is it really that bad?

Fact is Rockstar included a song from a popular Asian pop star from where I live and knowing that got me really worried. Music from my region tends to be tasteless and cater to a teenage crowd. I don't wanna mention names, but this Asian pop star hasn't shut up about her song being in GTA.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

there is something fundamentally anti-relaxing about PC gaming. Perhaps the required siting position to use a mouse and keyboard?? :dunno:dunno. Also moving the computer and hooking it up to the TV just to play a game don't sound like fun to me. I'm good with my PS3. You guys do your PC thing!

PC gaming is fundamentally anti-relaxing indeed. It is troubleshooting after troubleshooting. Googling for answers and trying to solve game related PC issues.

But that crap is not for me. I have enough Non-gaming related computer troubleshooting to do on a pretty regular basis. I rather spend my time learning other skills than spend even more time on computer troubleshooting this time for game related problems. Waste of time to be honest.

When I game I just want a solid 1-2hours of a good time and be able to get on with my life.

Sounds like your rig is farting out or theres too much porn on it. Poor points. Btw you dont have to play with a mouse and keyboard anymore, the people who were brought up on consoles can use their controllers from their respective systems.

Cool, I didn't know that it referenced anything. I tried watching that video but holy hell it's obnoxious! Must have been a slow day on the Internet for that to get popular. :lol

Well, last night I discovered sharks. I am now almost as terrified of the ocean in the game as I am in real life. At first, I thought it happened because I went out too far. I didn't stand a chance. Then, one came at me very close to shore. I got my revenge and shot that one.

I'm 44% complete and I want some money to buy properties and whatnot, but I'm not making any money from the missions. I think I'm about halfway done the story mode. My question is, do you start making big bucks at any point before the main story ends? Also, without spoiling me, does anything happen at the end of the story that could prevent 100% completion?

Don't you have to troubleshoot and install program if you want to hook up controllers?

Heres my advice:

When you come across assassination missions use the stock market to your advantage you will earn some good cash to see you through till end game.

or you could use this tactic, bit cheap

Without spoiling the ending (no actual details in the spoiler tag just incase no one else want's to know)
the answer is yes but it is not forced

I didn't. Plugged it in and started playing. I don't know Jack about PCs, but with Windows 7 and Steam, I haven't needed to. It's all been painless. The old days of PC gaming are over.

I am sorry to say but it is people like you that give PC Gaming a bad rep. Maybe 5-10 years ago it was like this but it is nothing like this anymore. With the introduction of services like Steam, Origin, GoG, etc you rarely have to troubleshoot anything. The only time I ever have to **** around with stuff is when I am modding games, otherwise it is install or download, double click the icon (or run from steam) and BAM instant gaming.

Yep, exactly! Steam really makes using controllers on PCs flawless.
