Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

just picked one up on craigslist for $40 brand new!!

Nice.

FYI for others, if GameStop has any used copies, you can get it for around $50 plus tax. It's $54.99 used and you get an additional 10% if you have their PowerUpRewardsPro card.

Saves you 10 bucks, and it's another option if you don't want to go through eBay or Craigslist.

Why would I play games on a computer if I can play it on my 52" TV with surround around sound? :lol

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

you can do that with a pc.....................and a whack.

there is something fundamentally anti-relaxing about PC gaming. Perhaps the required siting position to use a mouse and keyboard?? :dunno:dunno. Also moving the computer and hooking it up to the TV just to play a game don't sound like fun to me. I'm good with my PS3. You guys do your PC thing!

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

no, i was just saying your argument that youll use the couch and tv with the surround sound doesn't really make sense because most TVs these days are equipped with the proper connections to hook up a computer. nowadays people are building pcs and macs with hdmi which is now a standard on all a/v equipment. furthermore, you can use a dedicated PC/mac or can use a splitting device to route to your monitor and TV so that you can use either or both simultaneously. i do the latter at my house.

People on here don't like hearing positive things about PCs. They especially don't like comparisons to consoles that might favor PCs. Tread carefully.

Anyways, I can't fly aircraft in this game. I'm trying really hard, but something about the controls feels "wrong" to me. I'm terrible at it. It's pretty frustrating. I remember having the same problem with 4. The last mission of 4 took me forever because of that.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Yea, why is that. It was so much easier flying in san andreas....I must say it does make the game a bit more challenging

Its not that its just that a certain somebody wouldn't shut up about it and it became annoying. But yes flying in this game is very repetitive

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

I don't mind paying full price, as I am supporting Rockstar and the future of GTA. Used games, while great, don't help the people that spent years making the game. That's just me - not passing judgment onto others about it

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Love the game. Really only complaint is the music isn't as epic as in the past. Talk radio still rules, but only a handful of songs i care for. So much to do and see, the DLC will be like a whole new game i'm sure.

Love just sights-seeing.
