I really want this but I feel like with all the rising prices this one is the most ridiculous, $520 what? Why? I try to get the 10% code but no luck.

This is my 2nd PF after lobo. I just brought number 3 from blizzard. Hellscream which was $350. After shipping and taxes $399. I have to say I think I'm getting more for my money from Blizzard.

I was luck enough to get a 10% on this. It took a while, but finally it popped up

Oh hell yea ...that price is ridiculous! I'm still trying to weigh my options.

Lol I decided to get a custom goblin that's gonna cost more than sideshow. Rip wallet. :(

Still wishing Sideshow shows some balls, and reinstates the Goblin goggled portrait as originally intended. Instead, they chickened out, caving to fan fervour, selling out their own creative integrity.

Are you listening Igo? I mean, really listening?

They already gave an explanation

That's a little unreasonable divo. Not all of us feel like you do on the topic. Personally, I can't stand the goggles. I wish they weren't even on top of his forehead. IMO, the best thing SSC could have done was to have an EX portrait. They could've had one with goggles and one without. Since there is no EX on this PF, I'm glad they ditched the fully goggled portrait.

Not sure where you got your info. From what I saw it was always planned "goggle up."
And thank god they did not go full goggle mode. Wish they would've scrapped it for a classic look entirely.

Yes Ink, I'm well aware of the excuse/explanation, but I never believed, or bought into it. It simply was a rather weak cop-out by Sideshow.

I think they originally planned the head sculpt with him actually wearing the goggles on his face and not up on his forehead. I believe that's what divo was referring to.

Yes, I agree, the classic portrait would have been the logical way to go for both SS and collectors. Since they did not choose the obvious route, I still wanted the intended ex head, goggled and all, as Igo forecast. I mean it's better than nothing at all, and let's face it, it would have been the most unique take on Goblin ever, though not comic accurate. Really curious to see how a great, creative company re-invisioned an iconic character. And find it a pity that they caved to public outcry, rather than follow through with their artistic intent.

As for the goggles themselves(?), I kinda got used to them, and don' t bother me. I own the Rhino comi, and display him with the eared modern version, even though I grew up with the classic portrait. The eared Rhino portrait just looks way more menacing, and I like my baddies looking mean, which this Goblin rendition certainly projects, goggles and all. Besides, Igo did say that if we dug/accept the goggles take, we would love the ex portrait, but now nothing, and that's better?

P.S. Don't forget people, that these are creative/artistic interpretations of fictional, comic characters, nothing more. So chill.
