I agree. I would feel bad selling my Doom to someone who had to put it on a credit card. At the beginning of this hobby I used my CCs too much- now as I pay them off, I close them down.

Its a conscious choice. CC's are definitely the Devil's Due but in reality its a choice between long term goal or short term gradification. How bad do you want it? Once the decision is made you lay in the bed you made. If I bought a $2000 Doom on a CC I wouldn't expect the seller to have any kind of ill feelings, I made a very conscious decision to do so. That being said......$2000 for the Exclusive Doom is why I'm hunting an Iron Man at the moment.

If you're a huge Hulk fan then yeah you pretty much missed the boat on that one. Just remember that the time is NOW to pick up a Captain America, Red Skull or Thor PF (when the latter two ship that is) if you haven't already. If you have rest assured in your purchases. They WILL increase greatly in value, just like all the others. You can still get exclusive Cap for under $600 which might sound like a smoking deal a year from now.

I'm hoping we still see another 1/4 scale Iron Man from SS, preferably classic armor if not then based off the movie (though that might be a little too close in style to the comiquette already released.)

Even the regular Cap is doing very well and I would expect it to keep rising . . .

Thing will take a little longer but will also not stay under retail . .. the exclusive already sells above retail and is still available from sideshow . . .

I didn't frequent this thread to much, so I just see this now. I'm really devastated by this utterance. Do we really need these kind of remarks on this board? It's hard to shock me, but this is really outrages. Who stole the soul? Oat Willy, you never had a soul.

Good move man. It would be a huge misnomer to think that if you paid retail on a high interest card to get a statue now you'd be "saving" money as opposed to paying aftermarket prices in cash later on.

It all starts so small but last year my wife and I realized we were paying almost $300 a month in credit card *minimum* payments. With those fees I could have bought one PF in *cash* every month! By the grace of God we turned things around thanks to our tax returns and zero interest cards and I will *never* rack up a balance on a cc again. In the great purge of many non-necessities I let go of all my Marvel PF's. My two Cap PF's hurt the most but a wise person once said that when you use a cc that you won't immediately pay off "you're buying your wants of today with your needs of tomorrow." Good words to keep in mind.

Fast forward to today. New arrival at my doorstep this week. $480 shipped. Cash. Never removed from sealed shipping box and with a 100% clear conscience. Spend wisely friends.
