Are you primarily wanting Cap to display with other Avengers? Then you might want to *seriously* consider picking up the regular edition. The exclusive is second to none when it comes to display options, but the regular is still cheaper and actually is a *better* statue if you really just want the iconic version of him. The forearm magnet on the exclusive isn't strong enough to hold up his round shield. It actually rests on his leg. The regular arm is solid polystone and allows him to display his shield proudly in the air.

I own the exclusive but if I had no Cap and were to buy one today I'd probably lean toward the regular verison. It'd save you some bucks too.

I let my regular go as well but even though the Ex's arm is weaker its alway nice to have this option:

Great news! I was referring to the Ex that I sold last year. His round shield always sat on his leg. I just picked up a brand new Ex but haven't taken it out of the box yet. Maybe most of them don't have that problem. Here's hoping!

Well... my ex Cap will be displayed as WWII cap because I'll have Nazi Red Skull displayed next to him. So in that respect, he shouldn't get loose from being switched a ton of times. I doubt I'll ever have a modern Cap in my collection again. But the potential of owning that statue is still in my collection.

You can always go classic Cap costume with Nazi helmet display and still be true to the majority of his WWII exploits. He only used the exclusive cowl and shield in one issue of his golden age adventures.

I have everything else WWII except the shield. The round shield is just too iconic

The regulars have just started to spike but you should still be able to pick one up on ebay for around $400, less if you're lucky. I wouldn't do $500 just yet. I grabbed a MISB *exclusive* off the 'bay just two weeks ago for $480 shipped.
