The only thing that's throwing me off about this statue still is the base. Why did they go with slime green instead of a translucent emerald green that would look like a construct?

I still think emerald is too dark a color. When I think energy construct I think "light". The lighter green they used would be perfect if, as you said, it was translucent. But it isnt a deal breaker for me at all.

I agree but I guess that they try to look it like is light up

Yeah, I don't think it HAS to be translucent. Depends on which side of the bed HAL gets up on.

It's not a deal breaker for me either, just something I think could look better. Maybe something will change for the final product.

Kryptonite or not, they could have tried an effect like that on the base rather than the slime color.

I'd be perfectly fine with the base if they ditched the Ghostbusters slime for the same transparent stuff we got with the original PF and sinestro. As it stands, the original PF fits better with sinestro for that reason. Having sinestrks transparent yellow construct and hals solid ghost slime just doesn't work.

Quite honestly.... I dont see Sinestro pairing better with this one. They are both slight and small... the original looks great with Sinestro. Something that fits with bats and supes will not fit with Sinestro IMO.

I think the new GL will look really good next to Sinestro. Obviously Thaal isn't as tall as he should be but he looks really lean. Either way I'm excited to track them down.
