Yeah, I'm not sure what costume he's wearing. It does look like a mix of new 52 and classic.

Congrats Josh. This is actually a pretty good looking PF. If he was in his classic costume I would even consider picking him up and selling my original PF. However, I don't care for the New 52 vibe of this costume. I'm not even going to touch New 52 PFs and this costume doesn't work for me in my classic JLA PF lineup. I know peeps like to dump on the OG GL PF but I love the classic costume, dynamic pose, wicked looking fist construct, and light up features. On the bright side, peeps now have a choice of Hal PFs. I just want a Flash and Martian Manhunter PF already.

Boom! Well, that was quick. SS even putting in the announcement that this is the Hal for the JL lineup, lol.
I already got the Halimaw, so I don't really need this version, but I can always use the Stewart portrait with that one if I decide to pick this one up...

GLs new 52 outfit is one I dont really mind since there's veey little difference between it and the post Rebirth costume. However this does definitely have some of the more classic elements to it that previous PF did not.
Reminds me of a little update to this costume.

I think SS has gone for a mix of classic and new with the costume. Classic to go with the justice league line, and a modern finish to stay in line with Sinestro costume as well.

He looks cool but he has the same square feets as Aquaman and I don't like his abs at all. It looks weird, IMHO.
Plus, somehow, he doesn't look as classic as Aquaman, Batman and Superman. More modern, like Wonder Woman.
With this and Bats & Supes being the only ones with fabric suits, SSC's Justice League lacks consistency.

I really don't see an issue with mixing together fully sculpted PF's with Mixed Media PF's...as long as they, well, actually scale properly. Only aspect that isn't directly 'classic' is the collar, and if that is what bothers someone, then they were never in the market for a GL PF to begin with.
This looks pretty great, can't wait for SS to put up a team shot with 'The First Five'.

I like it but I hate the gimmicks. If it doesn't light up, don't photoshop a #!@! light up feature!
SS also seems to be continuing with those "disc" bases. They do nothing but detract from the statue. I don't know why they insist on them...

Maybe one reason for the disc base, at least in this case, is for some type of light up. Remember they said they could not hide it well enough to include it on Sinestro. So maybe the construct on the base will light up? That was the thought I had when I saw it anyway.

This is looking much better than the original one.
I think I might be in for this GL is my fave DC character but the first just didn't have any appeal to me because of those abs, this on the other hand is going to be hard to resist.

Only one way to fix that ...SSC needs to revisit Supes and Bats next into fully sculpted versions.

really I have the sup mix media and look awesome and is no problem have statues mix and full sculpt if they are similar and SSC is doing very well in this justice league we only need a flash and Martian or shaman or cyborg to make the super seven Similar threads
