like it or not this will be the only green lantern for a long time, and you cant have a justice league without him.

this turned out much better than i expected, so yes i am happy. I actually like this statue now the paint looks great.

Only concern is the scale, but cant really know for sure until i see it in person.

He isn't comparing it to Doom he was just saying that the Ex could sit n order for awhile before it sells out. As for your opinion you are entitled to it, I know I was saying the same thing two weeks ago, but I think this looks a lot better then I originally gave it credit for, and I think I will take the risk and order it. My money my risk right. As for Superman... No idea, but not this week

Thanks Mister Ski... I am totally willing to eat crow on this one... and I am SO happy I was wrong. It is what DID say at one point where I said I kept checking back for updates, and HOPING that there would be an improvement in this piece or at least a better set of pics, and that I was dissapointed with what I had seen so far. In the end I will probably be getting this one, EX or Reg I am not sure. Getting the Reg would save me $80-$100 bucks... but that hard light construct looks damn cool.

When it gets to low stock, is there a set number that you know is left? Like does the Low Stock kick in at 10 or 25?

For some statues, not all a warning pops up on their page saying less then 3, less the 20, etc.... However, there is NEVER. A guarantee that warning will pop. It usually is shown in the Newsletter, but sometimes POOF something just sells out.

I don't like light fist. Looks cool. Doesn't fit pose however. I would likely display it without anyway. Looks cleaner with out the busyness. And since I would display him with the lights off most of the time the Reg will work just fine. I hope that helps...

I kinda figured I knew what you meant. Was just telling you my feeling on the fist construct as one of the "yous" out there.

You know I have been tryi g to figure out what changed to improve this so much and I think I finally have at least part of the answer. They have either

A) tweaked the figure
B) tweaked the way he sits on the base
C) both

Judging from these shots taken from roughly the same angle

I think they have brought him over the base more so he doesn't look so off balance, but I am not sure if the tweaked his actual body to help get it there. Judging from this pic I would say maybe the chest and the left leg.

Here is another pic just showing how much more he is over the center of the base.

So there you go there were some real changes made... *****ing worked...lol.

Oh by the way it is quit hard to find some of the old pics as they autopopulate fromSSC on so many sites they are being replaced by the new ones...lol

P.S. yes it does help me just a bit to see that things have REALLY been changed and I am not on crack for changing my mind...lol
