Wow JS...I dont think I have ever seen such a strong hatered of any movie in my life....your conviction is rather impressive.......

I actually believe I hate the remake of Planet of the Apes more than he hates New Batch. I was looking forward to that remake for a couple of years thinking, POTA + Burton = Awesome... Dear God!!! I have never been so angry and dissapointed in a film in my entire life. My brother lives on the other side of the country and we would literally have hour long conversations deriding that hunk o' turd movie.

Oh and I really hated Congo too... what a Bruce Campbell tease :monkey2 Although when I saw BC for a book signing and viewing of Screaming Brain he did apologize to the crowd for that movie... I felt better afterwards. I'm still waiting for my apology Mr. Burton :monkey4

That remake of the Apes is just horrible. I saw it once and will NEVER watch it again.

Ironically, on the VHS tape that I rented at that point where it appeared
to be broken, it started in like that, but also at that point my VCR started
to eat the tape and it stopped - unknown to me. So I watched 5+ minutes
of an infomercial that happened to be on before realizing that something
was up, and then ejecting and re-starting the tape.

My VCR kept eating the tape and I was unable to finish the last 5 minutes.
I took it as my VCR also hating the movie to the point of wanting to destroy
it thus sparing me the remaining torture of the last 5 minutes! ;) :lol

JS

That is too funny JS. LOL.

I picked up the NECA Gizmo and Mohawk when they first came out. I have them tucked away in a well packaged box around here somewhere. I can't wait until my wife and I get a bigger house so that I can display all of my vast collectibles that I have picked up over the years...

Okay: the Replica Prop Forum is a board for people who like to build duplicates of things from the movies we all love. Replica Prop Forum is not taking any new registrants.

Ron is an RPF participant who built some gorgeous Gremlins a year or two ago, and from all reports he has sold those he made and moved on to other projects.

So we're all looking for someone willing to sell his or her Gremlins. The photos posted in this thread are the best reference you'll find. Believe me, I've looked.

''thank u Gruff old man...er bear! so are there 2 versions of Stripe?or is the "laughing" one not Stripe? been so damn long since i saw the movie. ''

The laughing one is called Mohawk and he's from part 2.Stripe was the original bad gremlin in the first movie.

oh yeah! thanks. so the bottom pic i posted is Stripe from the 1st film? the one looking like he's trying to scare someone?

wait the top pic has the "laughing" one on a base labeled Stripe. so the top pic is Stripe and 2nd pic is Mohawk?

damn, i like the look of the 2nd guy best but i like the 1st movie more

Its not hard, the black one is Mohawk & the brown one is Stripe....

The one on the left is Mohawk and the one on the right is Stripe. I think these are amazing:google . I'd love to be able to buy them. The detail is awesome and the facial expressions are classic. I really love the Gizmo Rambo posted a few pages back:D

Well, technically, there are two versions of Stripe. ;)

Ron used different fur for a couple of them, which is why JS's Stripe looks a bit different than mine.

Mohawk is from part 2 and is also great.

I think Ron should make another batch for everyone else that wants a mogwai.

They are incredible.

I agree 100%. I would love the chance to buy one. If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost of each one?
