Finally got to play a little. I like what I've seen so far. The only thing I don't get is that Niko steals cars right of the bat? Or did I jump the gun a bit? Also, who's car was the white one on the date with Michelle? I assumed it was Michelles, but why did she let me keep it?

This game is everything I could ever possibly want in game.You really feel like your in the game.I really like driving the cars around,you feel like your really driving.

Cars are "liquid" in the game. They kinda have a need-a-penny/take-a-penny philosophy to them. Except sometimes people in the game want to fight over them.

Going from playing Halo online to GTA online is a complete culture shock!

You play Halo online and your playing with your average normal type guy with the accasational foul mouth punk.Then you play GTA online and everyone's a super foul mouth hip gangsta wanabe.

So is this game a must have or what? I haven't picked it up yet but I don't want to if you guys are going to go back to Gears, COD4 or RSV2 in a week and never look back. I don't want this to end up like UT3.

Depends on what you want. Don't buy a game based off of what the rest of us are doing online. The story mode itself in this game will take a long time, so you'll get plenty of play out of your purchase.

We've all been playing story mode and get online sometime during the night as well.

As far as the game, I've always loved sandbox stuff, and have played all the previous GTA's, so it was a must have for me. Graphics are amazing, game is fun.

yes, i believe this is a must have IMO. the story is compelling and the MP is a blast.

as long as you aren't morally offended by the stuff you have to do in the game.

Nah i am not marally offended by the stuff you do in the game being as I have done most of it in real life anyway.
I am getting the game but it was more of a question as to which platform i got it for. I am going with the 360 though.
