Well that would be giving the whole can of worms away, now wouldn't it?

Not at all. Drew Struzan watched TFA early and said it was "the best SW ever." In the end we'll still see it and think "Wor-Gar was right! Or Wor-Gar was crazy!" Besides you already broke your NDA and spoiled the lack of a gay subplot so you might as well go the distance at this point. :D

I think I'll get a lot of both.

There's no way the early adopters won't rave about how great it is, like with absolutely every movie that comes out. Then comes time. And more reasonable viewers.

Don't worry, it's not a DC type situation. :lol

Believe me, I'm very curious too what all the reviewers are going to say come Monday.

I think Marvel is pleased with it, or they wouldn't have had that early screening.

They've already green lit Vol. 3 and brought back Gunn

Yep.

Although that's SOP these days. Memba when Indy 5 was greenlit when the movie was released, or any number of other sequels that never got made? I'm sure if G2 bombed -- and simply got terrible word of mouth -- they would rethink their position. How is Gilroy's schedule looking? :lol

Joking aside, I think Gunn has a really good understanding of what the Guardians should be and how to execute it. I'm sorry that Marvel seems to be usurping his use for 70's music and comic timing into every Marvel trailer now. Because it just means that style will grow tiresome quickly... if it hasn't already.

I thought "dance off, bro" was pretty stupid... but it made me laugh and I've come to actually really enjoy that moment when it happens now. Mostly for the moment when Ronin seems to drop character the first time he says: what are you doing?

Wor-Gar, what was your take on the first Gurdians movie? I've found that Guardians got a lot of love from general comic book and sci-Fi fans who were not really into the actual comic versions of the characters before the movie. Fans of the characters before the movie are kind of bummed by how they are being changed for the movies. Especially Yondu.
