Clearly Dads like this movie better.
Yeah, I'm a father, and neither of those films connected with me emotionally. They both involve father type figures who care somewhat for kids I guess, and I could relate to some of the things they did, but. . .didn't do anything for me on a gut level.
Just about as much as I could relate to a cardboard box with the name "Dad" scribbled on the side, sure.Did you connect with the father and daughter relationships in RO? Forest Whitaker and what's her name had a scene together...and later on the real dad shows up, wasn't it great?
But almost nothing else in that film did to me.
Not even when the big ship crashed into the other big ship and then they fell from the sky? Not even then?
Hmmmm. Though I would have thought that Logan would have hit me hard in the feels especially since my daughter is X-23's age but it surprisingly didn't.
I only have vague recollections of the supposed space battle that took place in that film, I'm afraid. I do remember the cuts to the guys from the '70s. . .kind of.Not even when the big ship crashed into the other big ship and then they fell from the sky? Not even then?
Red and Gold Leader cameo in RO was good enough for me.
I'm still blown away that neither the first nor second trailer gave away that a space battle was going to happen at all!
Got to experience that totally cold!
I was waiting for Porkins! He would have really turned the tide!
Same here but I believe one of the international trailers showed some of it and also a TV spot but I'm happy I avoided them like the plague.
Should've been a deleted scene showing Porkins trying to squeeze into his flight suit missing the take off to Scarif.
