Yup. Haven't opened it though. 15 bucks at my record store. Though RSD only lets you buy 1-3 copies of certain items due to limited quantities and in my case, was only able to buy one of these tapes.

Just watched the 3D blu-ray. Awesome quality and great 3D, especially in space and the battles.
The 3D version is the IMAX cut, with shifting aspect ratios for a lot of scenes. It's actually very impressive and looks amazing. They also have a bit of fun with it in a couple of scenes, with elements breaking out of the 2.4:1 frame.

I was hoping someone picked up an extra. :(

I ordered the steelbook of ebay but my order was cancelled. I then ordered off Zavvi for a special offer price but that was cancelled as they couldn't get stock. Ridiculous ebay prices means I can't get it :(

Booooooo.... Sorry to hear man. Crazy that they had so few available. Of they were just extremely in demand. Prob the latter.

They had me in the system getting two steelbooks but I did the right thing and told the receptionist about it after she brought two to the counter to ring. Would have liked two of them though.

After my TWS Steelbook arrived two days after release I decided not to order GOTG online so I went to BB this morning right when they opened as well. They had about 6 or 7 copies in the store.

Not Happy.

Went to Best Buy to pick up my Steelbook, I opened it when I got to the car to find it was damaged, split all the way down the spine til only a slim piece of plastic was holding it together. I brought it back immediately and was informed they were sold out, they checked the next closest store and had one set aside for me. When I got there I was informed that nobody had actually set it aside, and that they too were now sold out. I was furious, mostly at being made to run around only to come out empty handed.

Manager told me the online store would be getting more in, but I am pretty sure this was a lie to get rid of me.

I'd help out everyone if I could as my future shop still had like 15 copies when I left there at 8 tonight but I still have a bunch of Christmas shopping to do and PayPal has the hold on funds.

What is so special about these steelbooks anyway? I usually care not for the packaging and really just the disc(s) itself. I have the iron man "mask" case from the first film and it's crazy annoying to store on my shelf. Clam cases are fine with me, and cheaper too.

Stuff like the mask case I could give less ****s about. XD I only get steel books if I like the art and so far, I think all of the steel books for Marvel Studios films are crap except for The Avengers. It's for collectibility as well as an aesthetic thing.

Stuff like that bothers me. Like...maybe if blu Ray case dimensions were that of the actual cassette player, then it'd be cool I guess. It's a blu Ray movie case. I'm weird like that. XD I'd hold and look at it and just all like meh, this is way too big to be a cassette player.

However, I would buy THIS.
