Yeah, but could you imagine if this connected to JL in a Guardians of the Galaxy sort of way? One of those niche groups that ties into an overarching universe?

That just leads me to things I know will never happen...

I think Perlman is (unfortunately) over prosthetics now that he has steady income on Sons of Anarchy. Maybe a CGI Swampy?

So I guess a Hellboy 3 is out of the question then?

Actually, as of last year the word on the street was that GDT and RP had discussed things again and RP's interest was renewed. But it still depends on availability and studio interest, so it's anyone's guess.

I would prefer a sequel to Francis Lawrence' 2005 Constantine than this.
He should start working on Hellboy or Frankenstein.

I hope GDTs PR gets a billion dollars box office then have GDT march into the office studio head and says I wanna make this DC/Vertigo film and the exec says you got it anything you want, start immediately...LOL....crossing my fingers hoping they make this...Constantine, Etrigan, Spectre, Deadman,Dr Fate, Phantom Stranger, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Death and Sandman,and even Cain and Abel...hell even the 3 Witching Hour chicks and all the others I just cant remember right now are in it...Would love to see the Swamp Thing #50 story be made ..I loved that one...the first Sandman story was epic too...It's gotta involve hell and minions though...This again for me would be a dream come true...Hell I would love for him to do a Marvel monster film too featuring Frankenstein,Zombie,Werewolf BN, Dracula, Living Mummy,Manphibian,Man-Thing,Doc Strange,Moon Knight,Morbieous,Son of Satan and his sister, and even Ghostrider,Wendigo and more(just not Frankencastle, although it was interesting)...that would rock too...just from what he's done with Hellboy proves he can do it and do it well...The DC/Marvel Monsters/Mystery characters have a big place in my heart just as much if not more so than Superheroes line of comic stories...ah the 60's and 70's

'Justice League: Dark' Script In Studio Hands Today

Today, the completed screenplay for Dark Universe officially went to weekend reads at Warner Bros. The studio’s reactions to the script will be coming back in a few days, and the film could take another step toward production if Warner has a favorable opinion of what they see on the page. The director confirmed the script’s completion and status while I chatted with him about his FX horror series The Strain (watch for that article coming in a few days, dear readers!).

I remember an interview with del toro ages ago talking about his script and he was saying it included constantine, swamp thing and I think zatanna, among others. I'd be super excited to see swamp thing on screen again. If justice league dark happens I really hope we end up with a swamp thing spin off movie too.
