it does the complete opposite of Transformers by making the robots distinguishable from one another. Even with all the scenes shot at night you can clearly tell which Jager is fighting. So I'm excited to see a giant robot movie done right.

Thats a major problem with Bayformers, not just, "OMG they don't look G1", its that they look so generic.

These creatures and mechs each are very distinct. If this movie fails, I am praying for a planet killing comet to hit Earth.

Here's to that comet. I worry that this one may be doomed. I know a lot of people who loved the Splosionbots, and think this looks stupid. Which makes me weep for all of humanity. This actually looks like it has a plot, and the robots already have more personality than any of the Bay Transformers and they can't even talk. I hope I'm wrong and this one dominates all but MoS(gotta root for the big blue boyscout). Either way I will be in the theatre at midnight for this one.

People who liked Bayformers DON'T deserve this kind of movie...
The ironic thing is that Transformers was a natural evolution of Super Robots and Mecha, so, if people are so stupid to not know there's a history behind this, should stay away from this movie...

You shouldn't be. Because the film will fail without a ton of people seeing this.

So while you're playing Mr. High and Mighty, no one will care about this movie, and it'll be shoved under the rug before you can say Atlantic Rim.

And why do you want that? This movie NEEDS to do well because it's a big budget, highly imaginative movie directed by one of the best creative minds in Hollywood right now. This movie cannot fail.

Period.
