Not sure if this was already mentioned or if maybe I was just seeing things, but I could have sworn I noticed the Sideshows "s" logo on the side of a freight container during the one fight scene that took place on a loading dock.
Anyone else notice it?

Really awesome, people worrying about the lack of story in the trailers have nothing to worry about. Also is nothing like Transformers.

Just got back from the 10pm showing. Holy **** that was awesome. So glad I got to watch this movie on the big screen. This is the kind of movie you don't want to miss out on seeing with big loud speakers and a huge screen! Unfortunately there were like 25 people all together and 15 of them were all with me. Hopefully the word spreads on how much full of win this movie is.

Can you guys tell me how the violence and language is in this movie? My 7 year old really wants to see it. We plan on seeing it without him first tomorrow so we can check it out.

He's seen just about all of the super hero PG-13 movies, but if the language is excessive or it's too graphic we might not take him.

ETA Kids In Mind gives it a 2/7/4 for nudity/violence/language, so that's a good sign.

Yeah I really don't remember very much language at all really. The violence I would say is on par with Transformers/Marvel movies. The only thing I would consider worse than those is sometimes you will see the blue "blood" fly out of the monsters.

They referred to Gipsy as she the whole time. Plus boats, cars, planes, are usually referenced in the feminine.

Very little language. Mostly in the Jaeger fights, and he won't be listening to dialogue during those.

Yeah, if the kid has seen Avengers then it'll be fine. There are some alien guts lying around, but nothing too squirmy. No nudity. The main guy who has his shirt off a bit, that's about it.

But if I remember correctly, del Toro edited himself after you two stepped up to the mike, and maybe even tried to temper the situation by mentioning something about young folks to not curse...
