I own both and honestly do shoot the M&P better. Though I always attributed that to the fact that the Glock is a subcompact and the M&P is a full size gun.

Hell truth be told I shoot both my 1911 and my XDM40 better than either of them.

That's because the 1911 is the greatest creation man has ever made. Okay maybe not, but they sure are awesome. Most of the good ones just go way out of my price range.

Sure I will take some heat here but whatever. Every novice wants a glock because it's " cool". Sure it's a nice weapon. However the tactical community has moved on. Glock is no longer the end all be all and hasn't been for a while.

I don't disagree with you. The Glocks are very good guns. But so are others. With everything that goes in to being able to shoot a pistol well, the seeming better accuracy of the Glock isn't enough to sway me toward it.

I own Glock, HK, Sig, Rugers, Springfield Armory, etc and after those purchases I still went ahead and purchased a 2nd glock. To each thier own.

HK has always been my favorite, but I don't feel the price premium justifies them over Glock.

This is a good point. I've always been open to them because of their reliability, but just never liked the way they felt in my hands. I could never justify buying one just because of the "cool" factor.
